At Whits End Dog Training

I’m a first time Dog owner therefore I was lost when trying to get my dog to cooperate! I have a Pit/Lab/German shepherd mix!!! We did a puppy training package and in only three sessions she is now sitting, laying, staying with me when walking, and most of all goes in her crate and I don’t here a peep! She now loves her crate which makes going to work a ton easier! As a plus the after training naps were great for both of us!! Not to mention my dog is only 10weeks old! Would 100% recommend!

We truly can’t say enough good things about Matt. He completely changed our relationship with our 2-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Otis, for the better. We’ve always had an amazing dog, but once our newborn entered our lives, we realized we needed help with structure, obedience, and especially leash manners. Things that once felt manageable suddenly felt overwhelming when juggling a baby and a large, strong dog. In just six lessons, Otis became a new dog—one who listens to us, follows directions, and most importantly, one we fully trust again. He’s back to being the wonderful, loving companion we’ve always known, just with the structure and consistency we needed. One of the biggest changes has been on walks. I can now confidently and safely walk Otis alongside a stroller in busy, crowded areas and know he will listen and stay in control. That peace of mind is priceless. Matt’s approach is clear, practical, and incredibly effective. We’re so grateful for the transformation—not just in Otis, but in our day-to-day life as a family. Highly, highly recommend!!

I highly recommend At Whits End Dog Training! First and foremost, Candace made scheduling extremely easy. Her response time and flexibility with my schedule made everything run smoothly. Matt was a phenomenal trainer for my dog, Rue. She’s a Great Dane/Cane Corso mix that pulled excessively when leash walking and had anxiety/reactiveness when meeting new people and other dogs. We did 6 training sessions using an eCollar which worked wonders. My girl is now much more confident in herself and me as her owner when encountering new people and dogs. Plus I can’t express how happy I am that our walks are actually enjoyable! Also a quick shout out to Bacon & Toast leash company. I now use the 'Echo' slip lead. It’s a durable leash that allows me to have great control of my dog.
