At Attention Dog Training

Alicia was fantastic!! We have a 2.5 year old rescue dog who had a lot of stranger danger issues and was very reactive while walking on a leash. Alicia was able to help us with both of these issues as well as a few more things we wanted to work on. We had five in home sessions with her and every time she was polite and communicative. She was not at all intimidated by his reactivity and barking which was important to us. We now have the tools for how to handle him when “new” people are in the house and all with positive reinforcement. She provided lots of resources without having to be reminded and went above and beyond for our dog. We knew we had a good dog, we just needed help getting him to show it and Alicia did that. I had a terrific experience with Carli at At Attention Dog Training! We rescued a puppy and I needed help teaching him to take walks, get in the car, leave it, stay, come and with greetings (no jumping). Carli was able to help train our dog to do all of those things in the 5 session package! She is very knowledgeable and friendly and excellent at her job. I highly recommend Carli and At Attention!

We loved working with Carli! After adopting our three-year-old Great Dane, Gretta, we needed some help building her confidence, working on reactivity, and learning basic commands. Carli made it so easy to bond with Gretta and learn along with her. It was a very positive experience for all of us. We are so proud of how far Gretta came in seven sessions and are excited to continue practicing with her to build on the progress we made. This is the first time we have ever worked with a dog trainer and I can’t say enough how wonderful the experience was. We’re believers in the process and are recommending it to all of our friends.

We adopted a 4 year old female Pembroke Corgi in early January of this year (2024) and soon discovered that while she loved people from all walks and stages of life, she had a desire to be very aggressive towards any other canine, to the point of unprovoked attacks. She was a "mill mom" and probably views any other dog as a threat (who would blame her!). I found At Attention through some searches and learned that out vet knew of them and recommended them. We worked with Vania Gollatz for 6 sessions and while we discovered that Arya is probably never going to be able to be walked off-lead, Vania was instrumental in helping us better interact with Arya, teaching us consistency among my husband and myself and discovering that we can modify certain behaviors.
