Hi Jill,<br><br>We’re sorry to hear that you did not feel the session provided the value you expected. However, we do want to clarify what occurred during your appointment, as describing it as simply an introduction to our services and a sales Zoom meeting does not accurately represent the session.<br><br>The $199 B.A.S.E. session is a professional behavioral assessment. As you acknowledged in your follow-up communication with us, the session included discussion of your dog and his specific behavioral concerns. Because your dog had a reported history of aggression toward both people and other dogs, including a bite history, the initial assessment was conducted remotely as part of our standard safety protocol for cases of this nature. The use of Zoom was intentional and did not change the purpose of the assessment.<br>During these assessments, our trainers gather a detailed behavioral history, evaluate the concerns being reported, discuss safety considerations and training goals, and determine an appropriate training plan moving forward. Once that assessment has been completed, we review our professional recommendations and the training options available should the client choose to continue working with us. There is never an obligation to purchase additional training.<br><br>We understand that you ultimately did not feel the assessment was worth the $199 cost, and you are certainly entitled to that opinion. Professional behavioral training is an investment, and our services and pricing may not be the right fit for every client. <br><br>Our pricing was disclosed prior to booking, and the session and professional assessment were provided as scheduled.<br><br>We stand behind the value of the professional service provided, as well as the safety protocols we use when working with dogs that have histories of aggression and biting. We wish you the best of luck in finding the appropriate help and training for your dog moving forward.
