Armor K9

Sending our Brooklyn to Armor K9 was undeniably the best decision we made.. Lee is on point with his training techniques and you can still see the compassion in him when working with her.. tough love… she went to him an unruly one year old puppy and came back a controlled puppy who had not lost her personality…. At home she is still that funny fun loving crazy puppy, who listens immediately when corrected and is on point when on her lead and we are outside in public… Thank you so much Lee!

Lee transformed our 2.5 year old Lab, Belle, into a willingly obedient family pet. Prior to working with Lee for 2 weeks, Belle was a high energy "social bug'.....she went crazy when she met someone new, pulled hard on the leash during walks, would sit most of the time but would not stay, etc. During the process, we absolutely enjoyed getting to know Lee....he is very professional, patient and knows dogs!!! His biggest challenge was training us!! We are very pleased with the results/worth every penny we invested....our dog has become attentive, obedient and calmer. Even our neighbors that see us walk Belle everyday are commenting on the extreme change in Belle’s behavior. Wish we had found Lee and his program sooner for our own sanity. Lee has been an incredibly valuable trainer to work with - I cannot recommend him enough! I got my Belgian Malinois “Titan” from a rescue as a baby, and after a couple of weeks I knew I needed help. We did the puppy and obedience board and train program, Lee kept me up to date on his progress throughout, and I got my boy back with unbelievable improvements. He learned so much from Lee in such a short time, it’s honestly incredible. Since then, his continued check-ins and support while puppy is home has been extremely helpful in maintaining expectations at home. Titan walks beautifully on leash, responds very well to basic commands, has manners, and he’s becoming so much more confident in himself- that alone is huge for such a nervy dog. When out, people continuously compliment how much he’s improved all around. I will continue building off the foundation Lee has set, and I’m so grateful we have such a strong foundation to do so. It was well worth the money and commitment to work with Lee, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for training for their pup! Thank you Lee!

Additional to the review below, I just sent my second pup, Quinn, through the Puppy Headstart program with Lee—and once again, Armor K9 delivered. Even though Quinn was only there for a week this time, the progress was incredible. He came back more confident, better focused, and already responding reliably to early commands like sit, down, recall, place and leash walking. The transformation in just a few days was obvious. Lee is exceptionally consistent and knows how to bring out the best in each dog without overcomplicating the process for the owner. I appreciated the clear guidance and direct communication—no fluff, just results. I now have two young dogs who are on track to be well-behaved, balanced companions thanks to the foundation Armor K9 gave them. Highly recommend this program if you want to set your pup up for long-term success early on. I recently sent my 4 month old Bernedoodle puppy, Buck, through the Board and Train program at Armor K9, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. While Buck is not a working or protection dog, Lee’s training approach is truly tailored to all dogs—and that was exactly what Buck and I needed. When Buck came home, the transformation in his behavior and responsiveness was clear. He now has a solid foundation of obedience, structure, and discipline—all thanks to Lee’s exceptional training methods. The program didn’t just focus on teaching Buck—it equipped me, the owner, with the tools and knowledge I need to maintain and build on that progress. As Lee says, training doesn’t end when your dog comes home; it’s a lifelong commitment. What I appreciated most is that Armor K9 doesn’t offer cookie-cutter training. Everything is customized, and Lee took Buck’s personality, energy, and learning style into account. The structure and consistency Buck experienced during his stay was exactly what he needed, and now that he’s back home, I see a calmer, more focused, and well-mannered pup. Not sure where to begin, but I will tell you it took me a full hour to recover from the tension Lee created in ME in our introductory session. He never inquired about me or my concerns or objectives. Instead, he lectured me ~85% of the time in a very demeaning, insulting, and misogynistic manner. He spent ~10% of the time showing me techniques but just a meager ~5% barely guiding me on these new techniques. Training dogs is all about training the human yet his time management certainly did not reflect this! At the end, when I asked him again about the specific concerns I had, which he had not addressed, he actually became angry with me! In all fairness, he did not charge me but instead rudely dismissed me as if I were unworthy. My experience with Lee was in no way like the other reviewers. Perhaps he was having a bad day. But from my experience, this man is unbalanced; in fact, he's a bit scary! Fortunately, I have met a trainer who has successfully guided me toward achieving a calm, submissive, and happy dog.
