This was a great place to get your dog trained to avoid rattle snakes. The owner was extreamly nice and knowledgeable about dogs and snakes. He uses live snakes but takes care to protect your dog and the snakes from harm. Totally worth the price and you will be blown away by how much they learn. If you think your dog will naturally avoid a snake and not go right up to it and stick his face up to it you are dead wrong.
JJ is very good with the dogs.
My dogs quickly learned to avoid the muzzled snakes. I am hoping this training stays with them. It was such a short training, I am thinking it would be good to somehow test them now that they've had a couple of weeks since the training. It was most impressive though!
The trainer did a great job of watching the dog to teach her at just the right time. I will take my dog there again if she needs a refresher.
