Exceptional Dog Training Experience I highly recommend Martin Wright of Argos. His expertise in dog training is outstanding. From the first session, his professionalism shone through. (And he's hilarious! And could succeed at stand up comedy if he wanted.) Martin Wright tailored the training to my dog's personality, making complex techniques seem simple and achievable. SO, If you're looking for a skilled trainer who genuinely cares about dogs, about you and your situation and needs, Argos and Martin Wright is the perfect choice! Plus it's a family run business, his wife runs a dog walking operation in the Brookline/Newton area since the early 2000s, and her business style is top shelf and unmatched. She should do a Tedtalk about successfully running a small business so others can benefit from her experiences.

Argos Training, First off , Going to Argos was the best decision I could have made once I got my puppy Gunnar, a Cain Corso! Not only was I able to better understand Gunnar, I was taught how to better communicate and understand how to be a more confident, and knowledgeable dog owner! The staff is 10 out of 10, and I don’t say that lightly. Kind, humble, and true animal lovers! They are incredible! Gunnar is a large breed mastiff. So any one with a breed like Gunnar’s, or even a Jack Russ, THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT YOUR PUPP TO BE ! Gunnar is independent, majestic, and very alpha. Watching Argos with Gunnar, it was evident that this isn’t simply a “job” to Argos trainers, they love and care for every animal. They adore every dog that is lucky enough to be trained by them! I can’t even put into words the magic they work over there, and the way they are able to assess and problem solve a dogs issue while still educating the owners . They ACTUALLY teach you how to work that same magic once your pupp leaves and you are back home! Lastly, I live in Boston. I’ve observed Argos trainers during my normal day to day commute, I’ve sat in traffic and watched one of their handlers walking with a dog, training the dog, and they had no idea I was even there. I observed genuine love, genuine happiness watching the handler work with this dog, and ofc the dog was happy as can be! Again, thank you Argos!

I brought in my lab mix, Walter, for help with territorial behaviors that were progressing to a concerning level. Martin worked with me to understand what I understood to be "quirks" but upon talking through background and context, he quickly discerned why he might be exhibiting some of these behaviors. When he explains what I might be missing, it makes perfect sense although is not at all intuitive. An added benefit that I didn't necessarily deem crucial to addressing was moderate leash-pulling - the sidekick leash has Walter walking like a perfect gentleman!
