Arfordable Dog Training

We recently moved to another city in Texas, but had to leave a review for this magical place for our dog. We first heard about Arfordable through our trainer, Raven who is the sweetest person ever and is AMAZING with our dog. I would like to note she now works here too. We met the owners, Jenny and Jess, two of the most hardworking women you will ever meet. You can tell from the very moment you walk in how much they love working with dogs and enjoy their jobs. My dog thinks coming here is like going to Disney World. He also has celebrated all of his birthdays at Arfordable for the past 3 years. He is obsessed with Aunt Jenny's dog-approved cakes. My dog also participated in AKC training, had a couple of private lessons with Jenny, playcare (at least once a week) and boarding. You will be in good hands here and never have to worry about your fur baby. Other amazing coworkers and trainers you will encounter will be: Dori, Sierra, Fabiola, Isabelle, Caitlin, Addie, Rachel, Lisa, Danielle & Kylie.

Be very cautious before signing up with this dog training facility. My experience was frustrating and disappointing due to their manipulative and careless business practices. They scheduled training sessions without confirming whether my dog’s records were current, then canceled at the last minute—often via text with just 24 hours’ notice on weekends—blaming the lack of records but offering no solution or accountability. Despite these cancellations being on their end, they still charged me and refused to refund or roll over the credits. When I tried to address the issue, I was met with a complete lack of ownership or flexibility. It's clear they care far more about getting paid than about your pet, your schedule, or your wallet. I strongly advise thinking twice before committing your time and money here. There are many other trainers who will treat you—and your dog—with more transparency and respect.

It's hard to sum up my gratitude for Arfordable. I came to this facility feeling completely overwhelmed with a puppy whose reactivity issues had left me feeling helpless. I felt terrible for her and unsure of how to navigate her training especially as she kept getting bigger every day. I left my first conversation with Jenny already breathing a sigh of relief as I not only gained knowledge of her fear from her assessment but also of the plan that was immediately put into place for her. Through the months that Marlie and I trained at Arfordable, Jenny helped my scared, incredibly reactive puppy begin to learn how to "dog" while I became a much more confident handler through learning what I needed to do to help her. Jenny and her team are absolutely fantastic. The buddy-guarding system implemented at the facility is a saving grace for any reactive dog, allowing us to partake in group classes by making sure that Marlie maintained a sense of security in the intimidating environment. If it wasn't for the fact that I had to move out of state, I would without a doubt continue training at the facility. Finding dog trainers who are not only experts in the field but also genuinely care about the well-being of your dog can be difficult to find, but Jenny and her team are exactly that!!!!

I cannot say enough about the staff and this place over all. Rosie is my 5 month old Great Dane puppy and she loves it here so much. When I first brought her I thought she had a good base and just needed some fine tuning, but what they have done is nothing short of miraculous!! Her confidence, happiness and overall behavior is so good I can’t imagine her without coming here. The detailed training plan and feedback report is so great I look forward to reading it everyday. Just the love and attention alone they have giving her has been worth every second she has spent here. Thank you so much! Rosie is the best because of you guys!!!
