Jessica is amazing! I rescued Aspen, a 55 lb lab boxer mix, 8 months ago. She was in the shelter for 5 months. She had a lot of anxiety and was completely uncontrollable at times. I had very little success trying to teach her on my own, even with Google’s help. It was so frustrating. Jessica had Aspen doing 3 commands after one session. Jessica explained why Aspen was doing some of her less desirable behaviors and taught me how to to properly respond. It was amazing to watch Aspen listen and do what Jessica was saying from the very beginning of the session. She knows what she is doing and is very skilled! And it was easy to use what Jessica taught me in that first session on my own. After 5 sessions, Aspen is a completely different dog and way way less anxious. I am so grateful to Jessica!

If I could give Jessica 6 out of 5 stars, I would! She is AMAZING! She took my dog with a great personality but horrible manners & turned her into a well mannered young lady in such a short time. Jessica has a wonderful personality, has a passion for dogs, is punctual, provides great ideas & good readings to help in the behaviors that most families face along with great toy ideas. She is certainly the Dog Whisperer in my eyes!

Jessica is an amazing caring dog trainer who helped us get our family of three dogs, ready for our newest addition, a newborn baby. She worked with us and our dogs to make sure we would have a smooth transition. She patiently taught us behaviors that are useful such as "place" - going to a bed to lay down, wait, leave it, in addition to the usual sit, down, etc. On her first visit to our house she solved our headache of the dogs jumping on the doors to go in and outside as needed and every visit attentively listened to our needs and offered effective solutions to any problems we were experiencing. We highly recommend her and really enjoyed our private in home sessions.

My husband and I took our German Shepard puppies to Jessica's 4-week Basic Obedience class. As new dog owners, I didn't know where to begin and looked everywhere for training classes. I am so glad a friend recommended Arfordable Dog Training! Jessica is great with the dogs and an excellent teacher. One of my favorite things were the hand-outs she provided at the end of the class. They included helpful notes that allowed me to continue practicing what we learned. Jessica would touch base with every dog to see how they were doing and provide tips/alternate ways of getting the appropriate behavior if your dog was struggling. She would stop for questions after each new command. She went above and beyond in explaining the different types of leashes and harnesses available. I can recommended this class without hesitation and plan to take our puppies back for advanced classes.
