I can’t say enough good things about Arfordable Dog Training. When I first adopted my dog, he struggled with excessive barking, demand barking, and reactivity, and I felt overwhelmed trying to help him on my own. From day one, the Arfordable team was fully invested in his success. We started with a 6‑week 1:1 program, but day training ended up being a better fit for my schedule. After only a few sessions, his barking habits were significantly reduced. Even with how stubborn and difficult he was in the beginning, they never gave up on him. They gave me the confidence I needed to handle him in social settings and never once made me feel discouraged. Thanks to their guidance, patience, and consistency, he even earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen, something I never imagined would be possible when I first brought him home. Fast forward to today: he lives for Playcare. He adores his best buds and his favorite aunties, and the joy he has walking through their doors says everything. Arfordable goes above and beyond with their attention to detail between themed days, dog birthday parties, Secret Santa, and group outings. All the little touches that make this place feel like a second home. When we’re out of town, I never worry. I know he’s safe, loved, and cared for as if he were one of their own. Arfordable has played a huge role in shaping the dog he is today, and I’m endlessly grateful for the care, dedication, and heart they put into everything they do. Arfordable is the very BEST choice you can make for your dog! Don't delay! Get your dog to Arfordable for love, fun, training, boarding, bathing, birthday parties, daily report cards, hilarious daily photographs, cookies, spoiling...the list goes on! Our dog, Franklin, is a lifetime member. I was very hesitant about leaving him at a facility when he was a baby. The first service we tried at Arfordable was the puppy class; we all learned a ton from the loving and attentive trainer. The facility was very nice, and I started to feel more comfortable. We purchased some monthly packages for him to try out play care and day training. He loves it, and has learned so many skills. We even trusted the team to board our little guy. It didn't take long to realize we were ALL IN at Arfordable! It is Franklin's FAVORITE place in the world. Franklin is my third poodle. He is the most well-adjusted and reliable dog I've ever had, and this is all thanks to the training he has received at Arfordable. My only regret is that my other two poodles didn't have this experience!

I’ve been taking my new husky puppy since he was 4 months to Arfordable dog training for their day training program and classes and also playcare. He is now just 8 months old and already was able to pass his canine good citizen test! They not only train your dog, but help you understand the training and give you all the tools you need to succeed at home. They provide amazing written feedback with each day training session with photos and videos to also help you continue the training at home. I’ve also had them work with me and my dog out in public to do some training one on one which has also been so helpful and amazing to see how the training translates to the real world. The main thing that was most important to me is they use fear free techniques and positive reinforcement only. No negative reinforcement, no shock or vibrating collars, no prong collars here. They have so many individual trainers which gives your dog the opportunity to learn from different people which I think is helpful because again, it gives your dog exposure to people and you want your dog to be trained well with all people, not just one specific person. All of the trainers are so helpful and informative! Because they are a training facility you also don’t have to worry about leaving your dog for daycare/playcare because you know they are well versed in how to read dog behavior and enforce breaks and calming periods as needed. Keiko loves going there!

Why isn't there an option to leave a 6-star review. That's how much this place excels above all others. We couldn’t be more grateful to have found such an amazing team at Arfordable Dog Training. Arfordable is truly a positive-reinforcement training facility, and one of the things we appreciate most is that they train the owners just as much as they train the dogs! Be prepared to become a better, more confident pet owner along the way. We’ve experienced the Day Training classes with our pup, Copper, and the Reactive Rover classes with our pup, Rubi. Both experiences have been wonderful. The Arfordable team is so knowledgeable. They know our pups better than we do and work with us to enhance the life of our pups. Our pups also get to spend every other Wednesday at Play Care, where they get to interact with their canine buddies, and even meet some new friends from time to time. This has truly enriched their lives so much. They absolutely love their time at Arfordable! There is no other team we trust more when it comes to boarding our pups while we’re on vacation. We know Copper and Rubi are in loving, capable hands, and that gives us incredible peace of mind. And did I mention birthdays?! 🎂🐾 Copper and Rubi get to celebrate their birthdays every year with their best friends and Aunties. The Arfordable team goes above and beyond to make their special days truly special...homemade birthday cake, pinata, and take home bags for all their friends. We also love receiving a report card after their day, complete with details about their demeanor, how they interacted with their friends, and lots of photos from throughout the day. It’s such a wonderful way to see how much fun they had and stay connected to their experience.
