Taylor transformed our puppy into a well behaved, happy dog, who know knows the rules of the house. We adopted a 9 month old puppy who was raised on a farm and kenneled in a barn. He was not housebroken, pulled on a leash, dug up the garden beds, chewed the baseboard and exterior siding on our house, knocked me to the ground twice, and spent his first week with us hiding in the corner of the yard under the shrubbery, All of these behaviors are now a thing of the past and we have a loving and well behaved member of the family. Taylor trained our pup in our house and yard so the unmannered behaviors could be corrected and the dog learned what we wanted. Taylor understands the mind of a dog, he trained both me and our pup with skill, humor, intelligence, and ease.

We got a Rotticorso puppy named Castor back in February & I hit up Taylor about obedience training. He was nice enough to come by our house & meet Castor & the entire family & even give us a slip-lead, freely with no exceptions of reciprocation. I’ll admit, my jaw dropped when I found out the cost. We decided to wait it out & Taylor was very respectful & professional about that. Fast forward about 6 weeks. Castor’s gotten a lot bigger & stronger, physically & drivewise. At one point, he’d nipped my 12 year old son for trying to put food back in Castor’s bowl. Resource guarding is a serious thing with these breeds! At that point, I immediately decided to just pay the price & go for it with Taylor. He answered my phone call that Sunday morning & fit us into his schedule the very next day. From the first moment he walked through our gate & met Castor, our puppy was literally hypnotized! I was thinking Taylor had dipped his hoodie in beef broth or something! Since then, every day has only gotten better. We’re extremely thankful for what Taylor has been able to do with Castor & more importantly, how Taylor has taught our family tips & tricks into the psyche of a Rotticorso puppy. The price paid has been well worth it!

I learned facts & techniques that were invaluable! I will never forget how helpful the training was!!! The most important thing is that the crate is our friend!!! I highly recommend Taylor and Arcadian Canine, LLC. He has changed my relationship with my two year old Doberman mix. I’ve tried four other dog trainers in the area and none of them touch what Taylor has done and how he’s done it. He is such a skilled dog trainer and has a special way with dogs. He is also so very patient with the humans. He doesn’t treat you like an idiot if you don’t know how to do something. Which I’ve found is a common theme among all the other dog trainers I’ve worked with around here. I feel very fortunate I got in contact with Taylor and Arcadian Canine, LLC. There were a couple issues I just couldn’t figure out and my dog and I were both feeling frustrated. Taylor very calmly showed me what to do and/or say and it was so easy! Great experience! I reached out to Arcadian Canine because my female australian shepherd named Panda had become reactive. After only 4 private training lessons with Taylor, Panda is doing SO good. She went from fixating, lunging and barking at every dog we passed on our walks to being able to stay on heel and with calm composure. Taylor is really knowledgeable and you can tell he really understands dog behavior. He was also super nice, easy going and patient.
