FirstBarkAdopted through TVGRR and picked up our dog at AK9 where Sandy had been training him. We are so lucky to have had Sandy train and nurture our dog prior to our adopting him. He has been a pleasure to love and care after for over three months now, and I attribute it all to his foundational work with Sandy at AK9.

This a great facility - always kind and caring with all dogs. Sandy Pope, the owner, is the best trainer in Knoxville.

I was a very worried mama with my 1.5 year old lab Harley. He had never been to a boarding facility or in a kennel. Sandy was extremely patient with me and answered all my questions. I took him his first day yesterday and he did amazing! He even got to play with a few dogs. I think I was the one that needed to be trained not to worry so much. I highly recommend Appalachian K9 training center!!! I felt silly when I left for worrying so much.. I will now be bringing Harley every week for daycare and boarding him here from here on out! What a relief to find a spot that cares and takes very good care of your fur babies! Thank you Sandy!

They have always watched our dog, wouldn't have it any other way. Very reasonably priced and my doggo never wants to leave. It's ran by good people. Highly recommended.
