Because of Jake’s hard work and I was learning from him how to deal with Max we ended up with a completely different dog that would obey a set of commands including recall. because of Jake’s training expertise we now take Max everywhere we want to and we walk him off leash even on the busy road. Over three years ago my wife and I decided to get a labrador pup. Every dog that we had previously owned was an adult dog pretrained and were not very difficult . After taking on a puppy that was eight weeks old, in retrospect, we would say to each other “ what were we thinking”… We had great difficulty especially with recall..We live near a fairly busy road and we honestly feared for Max’s Life and future. The trouble we were having was so severe that we had considered trying to rehome our precious little boy after he pulled my wife down on the ground a couple times and she had to get physical therapy to heal from the injuries. Jake was so calm and considerate as we sat down together and expressed our difficulty and he had confidence that he could help us with all our issues even though I had some doubts. If you need any help with training your dog I would say getting help from Jake would probably be the best investment you can make!

I can’t recommend Jake at Anvil K9 enough! My two French bulldogs, ages 4 and 6, completed a three-week board and train program, and the results have been truly incredible. Before training, we struggled with obedience, leash manners, and some aggressive behaviors toward other dogs, but now they’re calm, responsive, and a joy to be around. We can finally take them on walks in public and enjoy all of Chattanooga’s dog-friendly spots without stress. Throughout the program, Jake kept me completely in the loop with updates, progress reports, and videos, which really helped put my mind at ease. It was obvious he genuinely cared about my dogs and customized the training to meet their specific needs. Since bringing them home, I’ve seen a huge transformation. I feel more confident handling them, and we’re finally able to enjoy our adventures together. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate trainer, I can’t recommend Jake at Anvil K9 enough. His board and train program was worth every single penny!
