Jacie, thank you so much for sharing this! Reactive and nervous dogs are some of the most rewarding to work with, and Alma’s story is a great example of why. It took about five days before she’d let anyone touch her, but once that trust broke through she turned into a quick learner, and you can see that in how she’s walking confidently now. Home Depot is one of our go home lesson locations because it throws a lot at a dog at once, people, carts, other dogs, tight spaces, so handling it well in just 3 weeks says a lot about the work she put in. We’re glad you’re leaving with real tools to keep building on that progress.
