A Truly Exceptional Experience - 5 Stars! I can't express enough how grateful I am for Katherine's kindness, dedication, and support throughout the adoption process of my sweet Himalayan cat, Smudge. From the very beginning, Katherine went above and beyond to help me bring Smudge home. Not only did she help me find safe transport for him, but she also sent me regular pictures to keep me updated on how he was doing, which made the whole experience so much more personal and reassuring. Katherine was incredibly flexible with both the down payment and the final payment, which made the financial side of things much easier for me. What truly stood out, though, was her warmth and thoughtfulness. Despite facing her own health challenges, including her battle with cancer, Katherine remained incredibly positive, patient, and helpful. Her compassion for both animals and people is evident in everything she does. Working with Katherine at the Animal Psychology Center has been an absolute pleasure, and I am beyond thankful for her help in making Smudge a part of my family. She’s a true gem, and I am so lucky to have had the chance to work with someone so caring and professional. I saw Catherine for my dog a couple years ago. Catherine was very knowledgeable for helping my dogs avoid cats. However, I would not recommend this location for red zone dogs. I was advised to hit my dog until he would surrender his bone- and he ended up throwing up for a week. When my dog didn't listen to getting hit I was told I may have to put him down. I spet $1200 on both dogs and felt very hopeless and defeated when I left. I went to another dog trainer in rapid city and now both my dogs surrender their bones without issues and heel off leash. I finally decided to write a review once I realized there was hope out there for my dogs and I want to prevent any owner with red zone dogs the heartache of this experience.

I brought my aggressive bully to Katherine and she helped me make him into a good boy. Two months ago my Dozer couldn’t even look at another dog on TV without going crazy and now we have a puppy at home. We are able to take him places and I’ve gained knowledge for the future. I couldn’t have done this without her. She is a very easy going and confident woman. I recommend her over any other trainer.
