I was a little late on registering for the class and when I called Sherry picked up on a weekend and said it would be no problem if I join the following week. She walked me through her teaching technique and what I missed in class so I wasn’t behind. She didn’t have to call me on the weekend or be thorough and walk me through what I missed, but she did. My dog and I did the beginner classes and the trainers were very knowledgeable. They used their own dogs to demonstrate the commands. There were some super excited dogs, fearless dogs, and mine was a timid dog; Sherry knew how to work with all to make them successful. She’d ask everyone if there were any new behavioral concerns or habits that may be starting to form and how we can work on correcting them. She also used positive reinforcement, no harsh punishment, and no choke or shock collars. In the 6 weeks we saw a lot of improvement from our then 10 month old dog. Looking forward to taking her intermediate classes!
