We’ve been doing private training sessions with Eli and it’s been a really great experience. He’s incredibly patient, very knowledgable, and is so good with my dog, Daisy. He has a calm, steady way of working that made a big difference right away. One of the main things we’ve been focusing on lately is Daisy’s leash pulling, which had become a problem, and we’ve already seen real improvement. I really appreciate is how attentive Eli is to Daisy and how he adjusts the training to fit her personality. He never rushes through a session and always takes time to answer questions. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. If you’re looking for private training that’s thoughtful, practical, and effective, I’d absolutely recommend working with Eli.

Attended several classes here with several different trainers. I found a couple of trainers to be helpful, but others to be quite condescending and at times, rude. Essentially I found the classes to be redundant of each other in model, and my dog didn't learn many new skills although I spent close to $1000. I took two of the three reactive dog classes and my dog's reactivity actually worsened. At one point a trainer told me that my dog would "end up with a bite on her record" due to the difficulty I was having getting my dog (who was 8 months old at the time) to redirect her attention once she fixed on something. I ended up working with Essential Canine and in just a few sessions, my reactive dog is at least able to walk past many of her triggers and I have a better understanding of how to intervene. I would not recommend Animal Alliances.
