FirstBarkAline and Ann are one of the best trainers. I have been to top notch trainers in another state, but lessons are incredible here, and on-going guided Dog Walks are great ways to keep me sharp. You can't go wrong. This is the beginning of obedience work. Every dog should be proficient in these basic skills. It will make him/her a welcome companion anywhere, any time. Novice is taught in 8 private lessons. You get a written lesson plan and lessons are planned according to your calendar. Lessons are paid for at the end of each lesson, not in advance.
This is the second level of obedience. OPEN involves retrieving dumbbells on the flat, over jumps, down on recall, and heeling off-lead. This is very gratifying and fun work not only for your dog but you also! OPEN prepares your dog for our MOVIE DOG Class

This is a one-time counseling session designed for the family who is anticipating the arrival of a new puppy. We go over all the things that are normal and natural for a puppy to do but which can be expensive and annoying. We will show you how to set up a "management system" in your home so that all his/her needs are covered, from house breaking to the dreaded "separation anxiety". The puppy has a few basic needs and if we are aware of them and fulfill them then everyone lives happily ever after.

Dogs that have completed Novice and Open classes are eligible for Search and Rescue training. These dogs are trained to the point of qualifying for the national certification of "Mission Ready". This class lasts for an extended period of time, depending on the talent of the dog and handler.

10 years ago, we got a miniature Poodle, and our vision was for him to be a joy for all. Not one of the nervous ankle-biters who barked all the time. Ann and Aline allowed us to reach that goal. First they got him rattlesnake trained, which was important since we were always going on hikes in the desert and we wanted him to be safe. It turns out, he was so well trained he alerted us of rattlesnakes for us to be safe! My wife and Ann and Aline trained Barkley so that he would go into nursing homes and put on shows bringing joy to the elderly, and later for schools of preschoolers. All of which is fun, but the best of all is how well trained he is. Barkley and I are currently sitting in the doctor's office lobby and multiple people have come in and commented how well behaved he is. Thanks Ann and Aline!
I prefer positive training and using shock collars for training is anything but positive. I am sure it has ruined some dogs for sure….They also charge exorbitant prices like $250 for the e collar that you can buy online for $50 and it is a mandatory purchase when you go to the fi…Read full reviewClose full review

I found training elsewhere that was positive, much more reasonable and I didn’t have to hear my pup howling because the shock collar hurt. Not a fan and would not recommend
I was not happy with the training my dog received, it did not seem effective. Rather expensive, and difficult to schedule a class.
We brought our puppy to Aline and she worked wonders with her (us)!! She is so much more well-behaved now - Aline not only trained her, but made US more confident dog owners. She gave us the right tools and followed up on our progress. We have a super sweet, happy, obedient dog now and we couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Aline!!!
