Angels In the Making LLC

Personally, I do not know how I would have survived without Angels in the Making. My dog is large and weighs almost 60 pounds. I adopted Cocoa when she was 5 years old so she had already established some really bad habits (for example, yanking on the leash when walking and jumping all over strangers). With the help of Angles in the Making, Cocoa's behavior and demeanor has greatly improved. I recently had a neighbor over at my house who had last seen Cocoa prior to attending the Well Mannered Dog classes. My neighbor commented that Cocoa was "practically a different animal" and that "she was so well behaved". Teri at Angels in the Making is very knowledgeable about dog behavior. Teri is an amazing positive trainer. I have had the great pleasure of working with her for many years as a student, client and as a professional animal advocate. My personal believe is that every dog should have the appropriate puppy education and manners training. I can't think of a better trainer to have in this process than Teri. She has a special gift in her ability to read body language in the animals along with the outstanding ability to help owners understand and work with their pets. When I adopted Boon, my then 6-year-old Pit Bull, in November of last year, I wanted to find a dog trainer who would uses totally positive, humane methods. My new vet recommended Teri Thomas and her business, Angels in the Making. I wanted to start right with Boon, and I enrolled us in Teri's next "Your Well Mannered Dog 1" program. I say "us", because any good pet training program must first train the owner. Boon responded very well to Teri's methods. After our first session, he knew what was in store whenever we arrived at Angels in the Making. He became excited, and led me straight to the classroom. The course was very well taught, and easily met my expectations. Teri's compassion and enthusiasm were always obvious to me. Since attending the class, I have often asked Teri for advice on new behavioral issues and other concerns. She always has good, thoughtful, and free answers for me. That's going the extra mile.
