What times can I drop off or pick up my dog?
You need to pick up and appointment to drop off or pick up your dog. When you do make an appointment you can select a time in between 7am-9am or 3pm-6pm.

Do you offer overnight boarding?
Yes! We offer dog boarding overnight 7 days a week. We require that dogs be comfortable with new people and up to date on vaccinations. You can sign up for boarding by signing up online or calling us!

Do you offer Daycare?
Yes! We have group daycare Tuesday-Thursday. Large dogs do group Tuesday and Thursday and small dogs do group Wednesday. Not all dogs are a good fit for this option and we have a evaluation day to see if you dog would enjoy this option. We also offer solo dog adventure days. Whether you dog isn't a good fit for group or your schedule just doesn't align with ours you can sign up your dog to do fun activities with staff members.

Do you offer puppy training?
Yes! We love to start training while you puppy is young. You can start training the first day they come home. We offer private lessons at your home, day training and group classes in Galena and we offer a limited amount of board and trains.

Can you help stop my dog from jumping up on guests?
Yes! We can help with over excited greeters. In our private lessons we can work on teaching your dog a better way of greeting your guests. You will need to practice the skills you learn in lessons so your dog continues to learn and build good habits.

Can you come to our house and train our dog?
Our private lessons happen in the comfort of your home or we can meet at a public place like a dog friendly store or park. We can talk about how to modifiy the training to fit your home and your life. We offer private lessons in Platteville, Wi, Galena, Il, and Dubuque, IA areas. Further traveling will require a travel fee.

I’ve had dogs, including two previous Labrador Retrievers, before but never felt like I knew the proper way to train one without the use of a collar. When I picked up my new Labrador Retriever puppy in March, I knew I wanted to have a good idea of training methods before the summer. I found Kristin through a search and realized she was right in my neck of the woods. I set up four training sessions with her and I have nothing but positive feedback. Kristin was responsive and very easy to work with in setting up my four appointments. She clearly cares very much about dogs and making sure they are not only well cared for but also trained in a positive manner. She is incredibly knowledgeable and keeps up with all of the latest research and she had well thought out answers to every single question I asked through the four lessons. She can help you with many disciplines for your dog, including agility, hunting, or just general behavior and making your four legged best friend a great companion. I feel very lucky to have found her and would highly recommend her. If you are looking to train your dog and are willing to put in the extra effort, rather than going to the collars/negative feedback, you can’t find a better place to start than with Kristin.
Kristin has been a valuable source of training advice, tips, and information for myself and my puppy. Her kind approach has been very effective, and has also helped me to better communicate with my pup. I highly recommend to anyone!
