FirstBarkStella stayed at Angelic Paws a couple weeks again. It was great. Kristen is a great trainer ( I used her last summer for training) When stayed with her, she sent daily pictures. I also liked the structured play time she offers the dogs. Highly recommend In fact Stella is staying there again soon

What times can I drop off or pick up my dog?
You need to pick up and appointment to drop off or pick up your dog. When you do make an appointment you can select a time in between 7am-9am or 3pm-6pm.

Do you offer overnight boarding?
Yes! We offer dog boarding overnight 7 days a week. We require that dogs be comfortable with new people and up to date on vaccinations. You can sign up for boarding by signing up online or calling us!

Do you offer Daycare?
Yes! We have group daycare Tuesday-Thursday. Large dogs do group Tuesday and Thursday and small dogs do group Wednesday. Not all dogs are a good fit for this option and we have a evaluation day to see if you dog would enjoy this option. We also offer solo dog adventure days. Whether you dog isn't a good fit for group or your schedule just doesn't align with ours you can sign up your dog to do fun activities with staff members.

Do you offer puppy training?
Yes! We love to start training while you puppy is young. You can start training the first day they come home. We offer private lessons at your home, day training and group classes in Galena and we offer a limited amount of board and trains.

Can you help stop my dog from jumping up on guests?
Yes! We can help with over excited greeters. In our private lessons we can work on teaching your dog a better way of greeting your guests. You will need to practice the skills you learn in lessons so your dog continues to learn and build good habits.

Can you come to our house and train our dog?
Our private lessons happen in the comfort of your home or we can meet at a public place like a dog friendly store or park. We can talk about how to modifiy the training to fit your home and your life. We offer private lessons in Platteville, Wi, Galena, Il, and Dubuque, IA areas. Further traveling will require a travel fee.

Kristin is an amazing trainer! Her gentle and effective approach to training my puppy Lila is incredible. I saw results in just one training session. I’m grateful to have found Kristin and Lila and loves her too! 🙂
I have taken my dog here numerous times for day camp and for overnight boarding, and have had a wonderful experience every time. My dog loves it! She runs to the door with her tail wagging every time we go back - she can't wait to get inside and start having fun!

I’m so happy I found a trustworthy place for my dog to stay. I travel frequently for work, so it was important that I find a place where I feel confident leaving Roo when I travel. Kristin and her staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. They take the time to really get to know your dog and their needs. I appreciate the regular updates I receive which show all the fun he is having. I get photos and messages about Roo's adventures and well-being while I'm away. It's evident that the team here goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are not just cared for, but are genuinely having a great time.

My husband and I reached out to Angelic Paws for help with our adorable but out of control puppy, Lucy. Kristin is knowledgeable and extremely patient with both Lucy and with us. With her hands on training and encouragement, Lucy at ten months is a joyful, responsive dog with much improved behavior. And she loves Kristin. Since Kristin opened Angelic Paws boarding and training facility in Galena we take Lucy every Wednesday to Day Care to spend a day of socializing with other dogs and receiving less formal training. With this service we also receive information regarding Lucy’s progress as well as instruction to help develop her new skills. In addition, we are able to board Lucy with Angelic Paws when we have to be out of town. Whether she’s boarding or at play day, we receive pictures and comments throughout the day. Angelic Paws is a wonderful addition to Galena’s canine community and we encourage anyone looking for training, day care or boarding to talk to Kristin.
