Angel Paw Dog Training

When my Sheltie developed some behavioral problems after several years, my vet gave me a list of dog trainers. I chose Doreen at random. She got back to me immediately after I emailed her, and we set a time to discuss the situation. Boy did I luck out! After speaking together for ten minutes, she had a clear picture of what is most likely going on and is an immense help in correcting the situation. She would not accept payment for this consultation. I will use her again in a heart beat whatever her rates might be. The woman knows dogs!

Doreen is simply a great trainer. Her approach to dog training is effective, practical, and direct. We reached out to Doreen because we were having problem with our new puppy Taz, but we also had some behavioral issues we wanted to address with our older dog Bodhi, as well as the relationship problem between the dogs. Doreen was able to spot the root of some of these issues on our first two sessions and addressed them throughout the sessions that followed. And because us the owners have to learn/practice with the dogs, we were also getting training in being better owners! It has only been a couple of months but we already have more robust, harmonious relationship with our dogs. The difference is positively stark! I can confidently recommend Doreen as a trainer, whether the training is for your new puppy or an older dog.

Doreen is extremely patient with us humans and our two golden retrievers. We have a 3 yo and 1 yo that have never been formally trained. I was overwhelmed when people would come over or even the Amazon truck coming down the driveway. I had very little control and wanted to get a handle on our dogs right away. After the first session I was amazed at how quickly they picked up the commands we were working on. Each week we all received the proper training tools and focused on a couple of commands. We are now are way more confident and encouraged to keep going. Our dogs are now thriving on daily training. Proper training starts with the owners and we could not be more happy with the guidance we received from Doreen. We would 100% recommend her services at Angel Paw!
