Andrea’s K9 Coaching

Our wonderful dog who loves all people was having behavioral issues with other dogs. When we picked her up after a two week board and train we had our loving pup back. Andrea was able to size her up quickly, bring about behavioral changes and train us in a clear and understandable way. Our dog is now more secure and happier. We investigated many options before deciding to go with Andrea and definitely feel that we made the right choice

Andrea worked with our Golden Doodle - who is a happy but rambunctious dog! From the first meeting we knew she was going to help us gain control and ensure that we all lived a happier life together. Beau listened to Andrea almost immediately. He trusted her and loved participating in training. If we were struggling with an area after the session, she was available to contact and help us make changes or try something new. Andrea never rushed anything and ensured we focused on the key areas we needed help with the most - standard commands, counter surfing and most importantly walking calmly on a leash! Today, we feel equipped with the right positive reinforcement and are able to navigate his behavior based on his breed and personality. We really appreciated her knowledge of dogs and approach. We are all extremely happy (Beau included) and could not recommend Andrea enough!

Andrea really is the best! I am truly grateful to have found her, and recommend her to anyone in need of help with dog behavior. Our young Golden Doodle is reactive towards other dogs, and it had become scary for us the bigger she grew. I knew she needed a more in depth approach with a knowledgable trainer but was a bit at a loss of where to go. It was my lucky day when by chance I met Andrea while she was shopping at a store with her dog Reggie. I stopped to say hi to Reggie, and Andrea and I got to chatting. I can honestly say just from that 20-30 minute conversation I was impressed and knew that she absolutely understood dog behavior and would be what my dog needed. I contacted her a short time later and we began our sessions. We are still actively working but by far this has been the best experience, and money spent on training for our dog. I TRUST Andrea, she knows what she is doing, and that makes a difference for me. Her ability to hand pick dogs from her own pack to bring to interact with our dog is invaluable. Not only has she helped in terms of reactivity and the fear our dog has towards other dogs, she has helped us with proper leash walking, and everyday proper behavior, teaching us how to understand and communicate better with both of our dogs. Andrea is smart, patient, personable, and each and every session we have had has been a positive, and worthwhile experience. If you are having issues that need resolving you need Andrea.

I arranged several private lessons with Andrea for my rescue German Shepherd Puppy. She is very professional and knowledgeable. We learned many commands and tricks to improve her obedience. Andrea is confident, dependable and clearly knows her stuff. My dog instantly took to her and was extremely focused during training session. I appreciate the realistic homework assignments and check ups to see how everything is progressing. We also boarded my dog when we left on vacation for 12 days. I loved that my dog was able to socialize with Andrea’s pack to learn some manners. I don’t think my dog wanted to come back home after she had such a fun dog vacation. I was able to relax knowing that my dog was being watched in Andrea’s home and treated like one of her own dogs. She also provided me a daily update which I really appreciated. It definitely put me at ease. We look forward to continuing our training. I highly recommend Andrea and her services!

Ms. Andrea changed my life! We had quite a beautiful but rambunctious chocolate lab when we made the decision to send our beloved "Peaches" to reform school with Ms. Andrea..😂. Prior to attending Andrea's K9 coaching, peach was chewing walls, disregarding commands, and counter surfing. These behaviors caused tension in our household and my husband threatened to give her away. Peaches then spent about 4 months with Ms. Andrea. Throughout the duration of her coaching, Andrea stayed in contact with me via text, phone calls, videos, and even allowed us to visit a couple times. Peaches'negative behaviors like "counter surfing", pulling while being walked, and chewing on random items, were eliminated after her time with Andrea's K9 coaching. She was even socialized with other dogs! In addition to training peach, me, my daughter, and my husband were educated on how to be better owners; a better all around dog family. Now, every now and then my peach isn't able to resist the LAB in her and she'll find some random paper to chew but she's still a great doggie😆. I highly recommend Andrea's K9 coaching for anyone.
