We have a sweet Saint Bernard “puppy” Daisy who is almost a year old and was beginning to realize she didn’t want to be told what to do. While we can appreciate no one wants to be told what to do, strength was quickly getting out of control and I was unable to force her to walk with me even into the pet store to get groomed. I was concerned we missed our window for training her out of this behavior. She was pulling on the leash, jumping up on people, refusing to jump into the car, yes she made us lift her in, and refusing to go into places she didn’t want to go. (Pulling so hard she was pulling her collar off) While she already knew the commands sit, down, shake, those are cute…but her behaviors were unacceptable. We got In Contact with Scott and in only 4 lessons we have a new dog! She listens. She no longer makes us lift her into the car. She will walk (heel) next to me while walking. I’m not afraid to take her to the store and be pulled against her will. She doesn’t dart at the front door when people arrive. She knows sit and stay. Scott gives simple tips for key words to use to also train us. 😂 I won’t hesitate to refer anyone to go see him to help get their dog more acceptable behaviors.

I can’t recommend Scott enough. We went to him to help with general obedience after my dog went through Petco’s training and learned nothing. He now comes to me on command, sits, heels, goes to his “place” when told, and his best traits show through rather than just glimpses. He also helped socialize mine and my boyfriend’s dog who was never socialized. They went from not being able to be around each other to constantly playing and licking. Highly, highly recommend and he’s very fairly priced for the many things he offers!

Scotty and Zane are THE BEST dog trainers in the Wichita area! I moved to Wichita last fall with my GSD Theo, who I could not get to heel properly for the life of me. But Scotty gave me the best tips and tricks on how to get Theo to heel like a pro! Zane has also taught Theo how to be more obedient in his commands (ie quicker to follow a command) as well as some tricks like "Speak" (which is a fan favorite when people want to see dog tricks)!! I've also worked with Scotty in beginner scent work and agility work, and with Zane for beginner protection work (they do it all!). Since working with both of them, Theo has evolved into a very confident dog, which is the best part. Theo and I visit Scotty and Zane regularly to keep up with Theo's commands and progress, and they're just as invested in his progress as I am. If you want caring and knowledgeable dog trainers who will do everything they can to help you and your dog reach your goals, Scotty and Zane are your guys!!

Scotty is an incredibly talented trainer who truly goes above and beyond with any dog in his care. Buckeye, our 1.5 year old Aussie Mix, has been a different dog since training, and continues grow in his confidence and abilities every day. Our dog is typically very hesitant towards males, but warms up quickly with Scotty every time he sees him, and that gives us even more peace of mind about the care and positive reinforcement that happens during his training. Seriously can't recommend Scotty enough!!
