I dropped off my 2yr old Belgium Malinois, Sadie, for 2 weeks of e-collar training and it went amazingly well. I was thrilled with the service Asa and his team provided as well as the quality of facility. He’s a great trainer and more important a great person with the right mix of skills. Perhaps not surprising given how long he’s been at K9 training, but I searched long and hard for the right trainer to get Sadie to the next level.

Asa, and the folks at Anderson K9 Training, are truly lifesavers. We rescued our 3 year old Bull Mastiff from the ACCT 2 years ago, where he was timestamped for that evening. We knew we had a dog that came with baggage and suffered traumas in the past (i.e. dog attack and abuse) but his behavioral issues only got worse and impacted every single aspect of our lives. We couldn’t have friends or family bring dogs over, we couldn’t have elderly family members over because he would jump, and we even strategically planned our daily walks to avoid interaction with other dogs. We were at our wits end and the only remaining option was to return him to ACCT, where he likely would’ve been euthanized. My partner and I spent many nights researching reputable dog trainers in the Philadelphia area and beyond, as we were willing to go as far as necessary. Fortunately, our research paid off and it led us to Anderson K9 Training. We scheduled a consultation, and at that moment, we knew Asa was the man that would save our dog and change our lives. After our dogs 2 week board and train program, we can safely say that our lives have all been changed. Our dogs’ overall demeanor has shifted from one of anxiety and fear to calm and collected. We are able to properly communicate with him so that he understands what is expected of him and how to act in various situations. For example, when we take him on walks now, he not only walks at a “heel”, but has no reactivity to other dogs. Our daily walks have now become leisurely🙏🏼🙌🏻 We truly cannot recommend Asa and the folks at K9 Anderson Training enough! They brought out the best in our good boy and in doing so they have changed our lives in such a positive way😊

I don’t have enough words to describe what an amazing dog trainer Asa is. Our dog has gone through an incredible transformation thanks to him. We have sent our 10 month old pitbull mix puppy on a 2 week board and train and the results have been spectacular up to this day, 4 months later. He gave us everything we needed for a successful journey with our pup post training as well. We were expecting a baby and wanted to make sure our dog will have boundaries around us and the baby. And she sure did gain them. Our puppy came from a litter without a mom. She was mouthy, jumpy, very destructive, reactive to dogs and people on the street, walks were a mess too, she was just never calm. That made us struggle a lot and it brought a lot of frustration in our family at times. We honestly couldn’t believe how lucky we got with Asa. Our dog is now calmer, she listens, she knows that home is where she relaxes. She can be off leash and enjoys more freedom. And I truly love that. She shows more respect and affection towards us. She is calm and gentle with our baby as well. Sending our dog to Asa was the absolute best investment we could have ever done for our family. Absolutely recommend!
