Anchor Up K9 Academy

We met Dewayne when he worked for a different company and trained our first German shepherd over a 2 week board and train. We were impressed with how well she did when she came back and it gave us confidence and peace when working/playing with her in our home or in public. Naturally, when we got our second German shepherd as a puppy we sent him to the same 2 week board and train (different trainer) expecting similar results. However, even though he did well with the basic commands, he had more energy and higher drive than our first shepherd which began causing issues in the home. We had issues with him running our fence and barking if we let him outside, pulling on the leash on when walking, knocking over my daughter, pushing past us anytime we opened a door, jumping on our hot tub cover, stealing toys from the kids, and more. We were constantly frustrated and ready to give up because of the amount of stress it caused our family on a daily basis. BUT, we were thrilled to find out that Dewayne had started his own business (Anchor Up!) and we reached out immediately to schedule Bear’s 3 week board and train. During the stay, we received daily report cards that gave us peace of mind as we excitedly got to see the progress being made each day. We used these report cards as tools to prepare ourselves to continue working correctly with Bear once he returned (we were learning just as much as our dog was during the stay!). It has been a few weeks since Bear came home and I can honestly say it’s greatly improved our lives. We learned how to communicate with our dogs in a way that didn’t require us to use tools (like ecollar) all the time to get them to do what we are asking. Our relationship with our dogs has improved and instead of frustration we now have more energy and patience to play and love on them. Gone are the days of barking at the fence, pulling on the leash, etc. and it’s all because of the new techniques we gained from Anchor Up K9 Academy. So much so that we even began teaching our first Shepherd in the same way Bear learned this time. Dewayne did a great job with both our dogs and overall he is just an awesome guy to work with. I have and will continue recommending this training program for anyone in need of K9 training. You and your pup will both grow in confidence and be equipped with the knowledge/skills needed to have a happy home.

Mr. Dwayne is GOD sent, when I say this is bcuz we was getting to the point to where we didn't enjoy our family member anymore. And Mr. Dwayne changed ALLL of that for us. If UR looking for a cookie cutter trainer He's not for u, because Mr. Dwayne has his own style of training dogs, And I'm here to tell u (IT WORKS!!!) Bcuz Blu thought he was in charge instead of us. Now we can take him on walks & not be scared if someone else is walking there dog, or someone just out walk period. Blu is a joy to have in our household now, he listens to our commands without hesitation; Blu is like a new Dog 🐾. But as the owner,..... U have to do the work if u really want ur dog to change, I can say this was money well & worth spenting. YES I RECOMMEND Mr. Dwayne & ANCHOR UPK9

Mr. Dewayne ,is amazing and he did wonderful with our pitbull Blu, he taught us and Blu training that help us out alot to enjoy walking our dog. And not be scared too when Blu is around or see's other dogs or people walking by.Mr. Dewayne was very patient with Blu , and Blu was a quick learner.
