I dropped my 1.5 year old male German Shepard off for a two week basic board and train. Carl was his designated trainer, and I couldn’t ask for better communication and results from him. The daily communication including videos and pictures was not only helpful in understanding the training, but gave piece of mind that Ruger was ok. Carl answered all my questions and did a great job showing me how to continue the training at home upon pickup. The difference after just two weeks in Ruger’s obedience was night and day, and I now I feel fully confident in continuing the training and continue to improve his skills and obedience. 10/10 experience!

We were very happy with American K9 and their friendly staff. Carl was a fantastic trainer and worked wonders with our high-energy puppy, Javi. He also empowered us with the skills to continue the training at home!

Nellie was the one who trained my young senior dog. My girl is so much more calmer at the vet and other places and can place and heel like the best of them. Nellie was the one who trained my young senior dog. My girl is so much more calmer at the vet and other places and can place and heel like the best of them. She's not the same reactive dog that she was pre dropoff. I would definitely recommend AmericanK9 to others and to ask for Nellie. I would even do more in the with my current dog again at another time for her and me to learn even more and then I think any next dogs I get I will bring from the beginning as puppies.

Carl trained my 2 doodles for a few weeks and theyabre different dogs!! He worked with their individual personalities to ensure they felt comfortable, confident and safe. He sent many updates, videos and pictures which was so helpful. Definitely recommend!

We did two different two-week boarding sessions here with our young lab - half when she was still around 4 months old, half around 7 months old. After her last set of training, I really can't give enough praise to the team at American K9, especially our trainer Nellie. She sent us daily pictures, videos, and notes, and has been very responsive between and after training when we have questions. Now just barely over 7 months old, our lab is perfectly house trained, kennel/crate trained, is wonderful off-leash as well as for leash walks. I highly recommend American K9 if you're serious about quality training!
