My newest, beautiful pup(Sailor)who I purchased from Krys is absolutely beautiful. I've never had training for any of my dogs in 50 years. This time, I decided to and it was so worth the investment. Money extremely well spent. Nellie (Sailor's other love) was the best, and I do mean the best. She is fabulous! He came home with sit, stay, down, place, calmer on walking, gentle at taking treats, and happy. As we were leaving, Sailor turned around to go back to bring Nellie home. In all my years, I never felt the comfort of leaving a dog behind as I do with American K9. Thank you to Nellie and Krys for taking such good care of my pup, and providing a great start to training. He will return for off leash training.

Nellie was amazing with our 1‑year‑old German Shepherd, who came in with some reactivity issues and a general need for structure and help. Not only did Nellie work directly with him, she also took the time to make sure I understood exactly what to do so we could continue his learning over time. She has continued to check in on his progress, offer practical solutions, and make herself available for follow-up training whenever we’ve needed it. She is by far the best trainer I’ve worked with over the years, and we will definitely be going back to Nellie.

We cannot say enough about the AMAZING training our pups had with Nellie at American K-9. As well, another one of our special pups is working with Sarah who is training him to be the most wonderful service dog for our friend and neighbor. Nellie knew exactly how to help us so that our boys could walk our golden retrievers without them being pulled across the street. She kept us informed each day of what they were doing and then explained how this would work at home in their environment. Most of all, she loved them and that truly means the most. She took care of them as if they were her own! We are forever thankful for you, Nellie. Sarah, you are an amazing service dog trainer. Our boy is going to be so ready to help his owner once he is ready. You have gone above and beyond to help Winston succeed and flourish. We are forever thankful. Krys, you care so much, and that means everything. Thank you. Tiff, you are a joy to see each time we come to the farm. Thank you Krys, Nellie, Sarah, Natalie, Danny, Morgan, and Tiff - you all are spectacular! We had a wonderful experience with Natalie while she trained and cared for our dog. She was incredibly attentive, patient, and clearly very knowledgeable about dog behavior and training. From the beginning, she took the time to understand our dog’s personality and needs, and she handled everything with professionalism and genuine care. Throughout the training, Natalie kept us informed about our dog’s progress and gave us helpful tips on how to continue reinforcing good habits at home. It was clear that she truly cares about the well-being of the dogs she works with. Our dog came back happier, better behaved, and more confident. We’re very grateful for the time and effort Natalie put into both the training and daily care. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled dog trainer.
