I cannot praise the boarding training enough for my seven-year-old rescue dog. We enrolled our formerly aggressive, protective, and excessively barking Simba with Rebecca, the head trainer. Under her guidance, Simba has undergone an incredible transformation. He is now a well-behaved, well-mannered walker who is much friendlier. Even after having previously bitten my sister, their relationship has been completely turned around, and he now adores her. While he may let out an occasional bark, he promptly stops on command, walks calmly beside me without pulling, and maintains composure around strangers and other dogs. With a simple command, he either minds his own business or complies by sitting. At home, he responds to being told to go to his cot and stays there until instructed otherwise. He willingly goes into his crate for rest breaks or when directed. Simba's progress has truly been remarkable! Thank you so much, Edward and Rebecca!

Ed at American Canine Coach was a lifesaver for us when we took in an American Bully puppy with a high prey drive and absolutely zero impulse control. My fiancé and I were at our wits end when Wasabi started going after our two cats, it was taking such a toll on us that we were even contemplating the idea of returning Wasabi, which would have been absolutely devastating for us. We called Ed and he immediately eased our minds with his confidence in being able to help us with our situation and set up a realistic game plan. During his board and train Ed kept us updated with photos and videos of Wasabi’s progress, and when we picked him up he made sure we fully understood how to continue his training and properly utilize the tools and structure that he provided. Wasabi was a different dog when he got home with him, with proper structure and continued impulse control training we are able to redirect him when needed. Four months have passed and wasabi is still going strong with his obedience and his day to day behavior. Everything from simple leash control and not pulling, staying in place, all the way to managing his high prey drive. Wasabi is a completely different dog with all of the original Wasabi that we loved when we first met him, just with the structure that he needed. And Ed is to thank for everything. Highly recommend!

Ed is a fantastic owner. He loves the dogs and knows his stuff cold! He gets extra credit for hiring Rebecca M. Our dog has a strong prey drive and presented a danger to our 5 cats. We had hired 2 previous trainers with no/mixed success. I was impressed with Ed and Rebecca's self confidence and knowledge. We had a good feeling they could get the job done. Ed turned the day to day training over to Rebecca, who trained Duncan for 2 weeks of live-in training. He is a completely different dog! Rebecca is very firm with the animals but really loves them and the dogs respond well to that. She also kept us apprised of Duncan's progress throughout the 2 weeks, including phone calls and live videos of his progress. Rebecca was generous with her time. She even has a courageous cat they she used in Duncan's training, which was highly effective. Significantly, the company backs up its training with 'post grad' followup training at the home. I recently lost my love of 20 years who had an adorable young and powerful RottiDoodle, who liked to jump, and was not at all well behaved. I loved the dog but could only be around him if he was holding him or in a crate. He could easily knock me down. From the start, Rebecca and Ed understood my unpredictable circumstances, during the Hospice process, and what a terrible situation we were in. She had such compassion, and agreed to board and train Bear during my husband‘s last weeks, and returned him to me a different dog! After 2 weeks of training and some additional boarding, Rebecca came to my house to integrate him with me and his 6 year old Morkie brother. She spent hours training me to continue what he learned from her, and to understand it will take time. Bear is playful and loving with me, but knows his commands mean business. I can even walk him alone with great confidence that he will not drag me down the street! She has made herself available to me for questions and includes follow up meetings as refreshers. “He started as a tornado” she said, and now he’s a big sun shower! Thank you for making it possible to keep Bear with me, as a loving reminder of my love for Brian.

Best decision I ever made for my Sweet bulldog. At first, I was very skeptical of doing a board and train. The thought of my dog being away from us for two weeks, made me nervous. My bulldog was very active, An excessive chewer, And took no commands. After training with Ed for two weeks, I have the most loving, calm, and an excellent listener now. The biggest mistake I ever made was not doing this sooner. Ed Is truly a dog whisperer. Ed takes the time to listen to what your needs are for your dog. He keeps in touch, sends videos, gives them love, and even went above and beyond by bringing our dog to our home for a visit knowing we were missing her so much. Through doing that we were able to see progress first week of her training and got to give her tons of kisses. Our sweet girl is home with us now and she’s doing AMAZING!!!!!
