Always Training K9s

We sent our 2 year old doodle, Kevin, to board and train with Nikki and the results have been phenomenal! He had severe crate anxiety when he went. He HATED his crate. He’d be covered in slobber from panting and whining. Now, Kevin will go into his crate with ease and settle himself after a little while. AND NO MORE SLOBBER!! He’s learned to walk on a leash with ease. Before, I could never walk him because he would drag me around. Now, he walks beside me with ease. He learned so much with Nikki that has made all our lives easier. We’re even able to take him to restaurant patios now and he will settle into a down and stay there! We searched and searched for a trainer we thought would fit us and Kevin. We researched dozens in the area. Nikki was absolutely the perfect choice! The work she did with Kevin was remarkable and the results we’ve seen are unbelievable. She’s been available to us to answer any questions that come up. Our only regret is that we wish we had found Nikki sooner! She truly is the best and we’re beyond thankful for her and all the work she’s put into training Kevin and us!

Nikki is AMAZING! I am the Director of a local dog rescue, Wags & Walks Nashville, and Nikki is truly one of a kind. She took one of my personal dogs for a board & train who was resource guarding and causing fights in our pack. Although I have more experience than the typical adopter, I learned SO much from her. First off, Nikki is AMAZING! After having several aggression issues in our house between our Great Pyrenees and Mini Aussie, we determined our Aussie was the trouble starter and could use some obedience training and confidence boosting. After getting the recommendation from our neighbor, I read all of the reviews and contacted Nikki. After an hour phone conversation and meeting in person, I really felt like Nikki was the right choice. She made me feel very comfortable leaving my fur child with her for 2 weeks. I really appreciated the daily updates and videos and could see that my little guy was in the best hands. Gus came back a changed dog and listens so much better. His off leash manners and recall are amazing! Finally, peaceful and fun walks! I’m going to be taking private lessons shortly with the Pyr and am looking forward to seeing the positive changes with him. I would recommend Nikki a thousand times over!

I would recommend Nikki of Always Training K9s to anyone with a dog. Our dog, Georgia, is a 2 year Belgian Malinois rescue. Prior to working with Nikki, she had several behavioral issues including boundary aggression, "pushy" attributes, trouble getting settled in her crate, destructive behaviors...just to name a few. Georgia is also extremely reactive and prey driven, so when she would get honed in on something, she would often zone out her commands do whatever she pleased. In two weeks working with Nikki, Georgia has learned not only the basic commands of sit, stay, place, etc...but she has also instilled so much confidence in us as her owners. Georgia can go out to a park without a leash and run/play while still listen to me for "what's next." Nikki showed us how to connect better with Georgia so that our bond can continue to grow, and that is something that I will never get over. Aside from the training, Nikki's business model is amazing. While Georgia was at the doghouse for board and train, we received multiple videos/pictures a day which not only showed us how good our girl was, but it also prepared us on how we should be training Georgia when she came back home. Nikki is SUPER responsive and encouraging and is willing to help whenever--she clearly loves dogs and she has a profound respect for the dog owner as well. I loved learning for Nikki and sweet Georgia girl loved her time with her!!! We can't wait to get G back to the dog house to learn more. Best money we ever spent for our girl.
