Alpha School of K9 Obedience

I cannot recommend Alpha School of K9 Obedience enough! I had hopes for walking my high energy, Australian shepherd off leash in crowded parks or just around the neighborhood, but I always thought it would take a couple years to accomplish. Alas, here we are at 10 months of age making it happen! Goose and I completed the basic and advanced obedience courses with Rob (12 classes total) and I was very impressed with how well he understands the dynamic between the dogs and their owner/handler then uses what will motivate each dog to effectively train. As a veterinarian, I am very picky with who I entrust to offer guidance for my animals, and I felt that Rob only had the best of intentions with my boy - I also appreciated the honest feedback on myself as a handler during training. We found out that Goose is very sensitive to correction and instead of pushing it further, we readjusted to ensure he did not have a negative association with training. I see several patients in the clinic with the collar that is used routinely in this course and when I ask clients about it, they rave about their experience and cannot wait to brag on their pup. If you have a puppy that needs obedience or any age doggo that needs some guidance, I would highly recommend reaching out to Rob. Also, if you feel like your schedule is too hectic to train, I can tell you as an ER vet that works all shifts and days, you can make it happen with the private lesson options!
