Our family-based staff share an unconditional love of dogs and it is our passion to teach responsible ownership and strong pack leadership! 10+++ - Alpha Obedience Dog Training likely saved our dog’s life. The “here” command trains the dog to immediately return to you. We practiced this in our fenced yard many times. My husband was walking our 13 month old Shetland Sheepdog, Sophie May. All seemed normal until Sophie was spooked by something - she jumped straight up and spun around. When she landed, my husband was left holding her leash and an empty collar. Sophie ran off about 30-35 feet away close to a road. My husband dropped to one knee, held out a treat, and called “Sophie, here”. Sophie stopped, turned around, looked him in the eye, and ran right back to him! Frank told us during training we had one chance to get her back if she ran off. The command worked perfectly! Our forever thanks to Frank!
We had such a great experience with Alpha Obedience Dog Training with our two dogs. They were patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about helping our dogs learn and improve. We highly recommend Alpha Obedience to anyone looking for great training!
"Who are you and what have you done with Moose", my sister asked my dog toward the end of our course at Alpha. Unbelieveable change in my dog's outlook and behavior. I also got some great training, win-win all around.
Alpha Obedience helped us to get our rescue trained and comfortable! She would not even walk in on our first session and by the end of our training, she was eating treats from Frank's hand. Thouroughly pleased with the results and plan to continue other training skills with Alpha Obedience!
