DO NOT BOARD HERE. My dogs never get sick until they went here. They say they require vet tests and updated records, but since we boarded are dogs for the first time this year we have been dealing with sickness that only a dirty place would have. One of are dogs had bloody diarrhea for days after we picked him up - 1st vet visit. Another tested positive for coccidia, so 2nd vet visit. Since coccidlia is transmissible I have to treat all 3 dogs, that's a 3rd vet visit. Over all since boarding this place as costed me $1800.00 in vet and med bills. Never again. I recommend just spending the extra money on a dog friendly Airbnb or hotel, save yourself the hardship and money.

We took our 3.5 month golden retriever puppy to Alpha K9 U for a 2 week board and train. She has been home with us now for a couple of weeks. I wanted to provide a review because the training she received has been such a game changer and has provided our family with such a great starting point on helping our puppy become the best family dog we could ask for. Her trainer Maddie was so good at providing updates and sending us photos to let us know how our puppy was doing. Maddie kept us informed on what our puppy was working on and what she was mastering. I felt that she was in good safe hands the whole time. When I went to pick our puppy up, Maddie took the time to share with me ALL that she did with our pup and how to help maintain the training. She provided me with paperwork with helpful hints. She even shared with me what treats were working the best for our pup. She allowed me to practice a few things while I was there to ensure I understood how to communicate the correct messages to our sweet girl. Since we have had her home, we have had family and friends over for various gatherings, we have taken our pup out in public and we have never heard so many people praise how good she is and how well behaved she is. This makes us very proud as owners and I always tell them where we took her. We start our weekly training this week and we are excited to take the training to the next level. Thank you Maddie for helping us get started, we still have lots to learn, but we are all on the same page and that sure makes this so much easier and enjoyable for everyone.

I boarded my two American Staffordshire Terriers here for three days and unfortunately did not have a good experience. I originally booked the reservation a few months in advance, but when I called closer to the boarding date, they could not find my information. My name was misspelled in their system, and they had also lost my veterinarian vaccination records, which I had already provided. When I picked my dogs up, the receptionist seemed put off by them. I asked how things went, and she seemed irritated with my dogs when she told that one of my dogs chewed up a wooden door inside the suite. The receptionist also commented, “I’m not going to lie, they were really reactive to other dogs.” I had made it very clear multiple times beforehand that my dogs are reactive and should not be socialized with others. Overall, I just didn’t feel like my dogs were cared for in the way I expected, and I left with the impression that they were a burden to the staff. Because of this experience, I most likely will not return.
