ALPHA DOG TRAINING

Carrie is an amazing trainer. River my Doberman when I first brought her home was so cute and fun, then she became aggressive and started biting. She would pin us up against the wall and viscously bite us. I had taken her to other trainers to no avail. One day I found Carrie’s website and called her. If this didn’t work I was going to have to give her away. Meeting Carrie was meeting the dog whisperer. After her first session she was already making a turn for the better. Today with Carrie’s work and lots of hard work at home she is now the Doberman and companion I always wanted. I would recommend Carrie and her training to anyone. Carrie was my last hope and ended up being the best person that could of happened to us.

I firmly believe Carrie holds the keys to a happy and successful relationship with your dog. When I first started, Carrie promised that at the end of the training, I would have an awesome dog. Carrie is hands-down the best dog trainer we've had. We have been through click-reward training, dominance training, puppy classes in the past and although our dogs were not savages, they were not really well-trained (that is to say, WE were not well-trained either). Carrie breaks it down into pretty easy do’s and don’ts and she tells you why. She started working with us and our 6 month old Bernedoodle because he was already 75 pounds and was starting to push us around. Carrie put him on a schedule of crate time and rest and gave us tools to practice one skill at a time. When we left to come back north (approximately 6 weeks later), he would go to his “place” and wait patiently for food, for greeting strangers, for staying out of the kitchen and sometimes because he wanted to calm himself down. He is able to drop “down” with a gesture or with a voice command - this skill is perhaps the most important because it safely and reliably stops him in his tracks. He is a pleasure to live with and Carrie deserves much of the credit.Thank you Carrie!
