AlphA and Omega Dog Training

Jay did the impossible. I contacted Alpha and Omega when we got our ~3 year old rescue pit. She was very sweet, but untrained and had a lot of separation anxiety. Almost immediately after we got her we found out we needed to move across the state, so we knew we needed to work quickly. Jay came out for a consultation a few days later, explained his philosophy and within just the first few sessions she was already showing impressive results. Within a month Jay and I had her heeling off leash, staying on her spot, and being an all around pretty well-behaved dog! Jay was very accommodating. He checked in with me often and always made sure I understood not just the assignment, but the reasoning behind it. Very happy to report that the transition to the new city went smoothly and we continue to apply what Jay taught us.

By far one of the best dog training experiences I've had. I found A&O after a lot of online research. I have a service dog named Jade and she needed retraining as due to COVID-19 my routine and household composition changed. Setting up the appointment was easy, I liked that they met me and Jade at home at a time that worked for me. They listened and provided me with custom made training to tackle the specific issues we needed to addressed. Trainer Ashley is AWESOME!! She made sure to adjust to my schedule as I had weird work hrs and was in middle of moving out of state. She communicated constantly and was punctual. Loved how Ashley also brought her dog to help work some of the issues I had with Jade. Definitely worth the time, effort and money. Jades behavior started improving quickly and as Ashley pointed out MY training also started giving results. I would definitely recommend her as a trainer, she listens and is not afraid to let you know when you need to fix something. However she was always respectful and professional but still very friendly. Thank you Ashley for all your hard work. Jade and myself are happier as a result. Will keep in touch.

We hired Jay a few months ago to train our rescue dog, Honey. Honey would go crazy on our walks if she saw a biker, a jogger, or any other animal. It came to the point where we were embarrassed to take Honey for a walk….until we hire Jay. The moment he walked in the door, he had the respect of honey. Jay taught us that it is actually us who needs the training to make honey a great dog. I didn’t believe him at first but he proved me wrong. We now have an amazing dog who obeys our every command. We actually get compliments on her instead of those nasty stares we used to get when she went wild. I can’t thank him enough and the great job he has done to give us the dog we always wanted. You will not regret hiring him

I had checked with other Dog Training Sessions and was never given an evaluation like I experienced with Alpha and Omega with Jay. I communicated with Jay the concerns I was having with Cosmo, my little mini poodle. Cosmo was not the problem. Me (his owner) was the problem. Cosmo knew what was happening, I was allowing him to be in control of everything. After the evaluation, I felt bad for Cosmo but was impressed with what commands Cosmo had taken and being obedient. Jay was not letting up on me, but he was a great trainer and made sure that I was doing what I needed to do in order to get Cosmo where I wanted him to be. Having Cosmo is so much better staying in a specific spot until I allow him to move, allowing me to do things I need to do without constant following and barking. Thanks, Jay, for assisting me with setting boundaries to keep Cosmo from running in the streets. Our walks are much better. Thanks to Alpha and Omega Dog Training and my trainer, Jay. I would highly recommend Alpha and Omega Dog training to anyone who is seeking a reliable establishment with the results you are looking for.
