Almost Heaven K9 Training

Absolutely worth the investment. Becca at Almost Heaven K9 has changed life with our dog for the better. My family brought home an 8-week Newfoundland pup earlier this year. I got on Becca's training scheduling that same week. With three young children and a puppy who will eventually grow to the size of a small horse, we knew training was a necessity. Our puppy is sweet as can be, but she weighed over 80 pounds at 6 months and her size presented a huge challenge. She practically dragged me along the asphalt on walks. She knocked an elderly neighbor to the ground. I dreaded getting her out of the crate in the morning because she would jump all over me and getting her down was physically exhausting. After training with Becca, I can not only coexist with my dog, I LOVE being with my dog. Walks are an absolute pleasure. I can communicate with her without trying to physically restrain her. I can tend to my children in another room without worrying my dog will chew on the furniture. I could go on and on. We took our puppy to the beach one week after training. It was simply amazing to see her transformation. Becca teaches dogs to be calm when needed and responsive to their owners so they can enjoy more freedom. I also appreciate Becca's willingness to help owners once their dog is home from training. I had a lot of questions about using the e-collar and Becca is highly responsive. She never made this first time dog owner feel foolish! I wish everyone could give their dog the gift of training with Becca.

We are beyond happy with the new and improved life we now have with our first dog, Gravy! Almost Heaven K9/Becca was just what we needed to break the cycle of a stressful dog life. We now have a dog that is more calm and can relax when we need her to. Practicing 'place' has stopped her whining and has been the answer to her 'what do I do with myself?' when we have tasks going on around her. Walks have been AMAZING and this Spring will be more enjoyable. The freedom we now have to allow her to go 'off-leash' to do her business or explore is another joy/tool we have been given. There is work involved, but it is worth the reward and trust. Becca has been very supportive and attentive to any questions we have since completing the program. We could not be where we are now without help. Thank you so much to Becca and family for providing a loving and safe place for Gravy. We had peace of mind while away and look forward to better dog-days ahead!

Becca and her training have been LIFE CHANGING for us and our boy, Fido. Before training we had nothing but stress and chaos. He almost lost his life from eating a sock and having to have emergency surgery FOUR DAYS before he was originally scheduled to begin training with her. Thankfully we were able to swap dates and get him in after he fully recovered. This was his sink or swim moment. And honestly I had doubts that he would not be trainable. Becca is an AMAZING trainer and knows exactly what she’s doing! We couldn’t walk Fido, spend quality time with him, or even begin to think about having him hang out with us to relax as a family. He was SO SO WILD! Now he is such a calm boy. He listens to us and he’s so happy! If you follow thru with what Becca recommends and put in the work when you get home, you will for sure have a totally different life with your pet! Life is fun and relaxing with him now and it’s just been a week. I never could have dreamed this would be life with Fido! We can’t thank Becca enough! If you have a crazy dog that makes life stressful, she’s your girl if you’re willing to keep up what she starts (from our experience, life with a dog this way is a MILLION times easier and better for all involved).

Almost Heaven K9 (Becca) is an amazing wonderful lady to in trust your dogs too!! She goes above and beyond with training and not only that but she truly cares for each and every pet. Before Kylo’s training, it was a fight being able to eat dinner in the living room without having to crate him. He would basically try to sit on you and have his nose in your plate. Now, after his training, just being able to eat food on the couch without it being a fight is amazing!! He lays on his cot and doesn’t whine or complain!! Before his training I dreaded taking him on a walk because of how unruly and awful he acted. Jumping at squirrels, dragging me, barking at anything and everyone if someone engaged with him. He isn’t a mean dog but a dog with too much adrenaline and didn’t know how to act and we didn’t know how to correct this. Now being able to take a calm relaxing walk, without you being the one getting walked is amazing!! We can walk by people and other dogs and he doesn’t acknowledge them. It is amazing having a dog who respects you and doesn’t run you over. Now I’ve realized how wrong it is to live like that! It isn’t you being mean it’s you taking back the control and showing them how to live a happy healthy balanced life!! You have to be willing to put in the work and follow her teaching/rules once you get home. But it is so worth it to have a calm relaxing world to live in with your dog! Stop letting them control you and take back control!! It is so much better when you live this life!! Becca is an amazing fierce strong leader and a great person to work with!!! She always is ready to help and responds to any questions I have! She is more of a friend than a trainer. She does an outstanding job and I can’t thank her and her family enough for taking in Kylo and getting him into shape!!! Now it’s our turns to keep up the good work and practice to make it a healthy balanced life!! Thank you so much Becca - Almost Heaven K9!!!!

Becca did a great job with our 6 month old vizsla puppy! We were having behavioral issues and reached out to her. She got back to us the same day and her communication was excellent. She sent daily updates of our dogs progress and was there to answer any questions we had. Our dog is thriving and is MUCH better behaved. He now goes to the office with me everyday and this was not possible before. I highly recommend Becca and we could not be more happy!
