Allstar Canines Dog Training San Jose

We brought our 2 year old staffordshire terrier dog Nala to be trained with Ralph for a 3 week boarding to break some lingering habits we didn't have the time to break. We provided a very specific list of 3-5 things we would love to see her improve or master, and Ralph addressed all of them. (from barking incessently at windshield wipers, to being overly excited around other dogs and people, to holding her "stay and sit" commands for longer periods of time), Ralph was able to work on all of those. The weekly visits and in-person application training helped us to see how Nala was progressing and gave us a chance to learn together with Ralph. We received periodic photos and videos of Nala usually on our day of visiting, but would have loved even more progression videos throughout the week ahead of our visits. They did say there was a 3 week minimum for boarded training, but keep in mind you will likely need more if you want to really solidify training. We chose 3 weeks since Nala had done some other training already previously with other trainers. Either way would recommend Allstar Canines!

Allstar Canines is fantastic in every way. Our 9 month old Mini American Shepherd (“mini-Aussie”) puppy is a wonderful little girl with a heart of gold. She’s a very sensitive, independent thinker and needed a “Goldilocks” trainer who could lead her with a combination of enthusiasm, infinite positivity, patience and a gentle yet respect-worthy presence. Ralph (Allstar Canines) is exactly that trainer. Our girl gets so excited to see Ralph every week and has so much fun learning from him. My wife and I enjoy the lessons just as much. Our puppy (11 months now) is able to go for loose-leash walks, down-stay when other dogs or people pass by and do so more, all of which has boosted her confidence as well as her deep connection to us. We couldn’t be happier to have found Allstar Canines and plan to continue getting advanced lessons from Ralph.
