Allstar Canines Dog Training San Jose

We have two Cavapoos, Momo (3) and Hana (4), and we’ve had such a positive experience with Allstar Canines! Momo recently completed her board & train program, and we’ve seen a significant improvement in her engagement, patience, and reactivity. One thing that stood out to me is that she now offers good behaviors on her own without always being commanded. We had worked with different trainers in the past, but they never showed this level of progress in a short amount of time. We’ve also learned the importance of giving the right correction at the right time, and how much timing matters in training. Hana’s private lessons are still ongoing, and we’re all learning together. Her engagement with her handlers has already gotten noticeably better. Our main goal is to address the newly developed tension between the two dogs. We’re optimistic that, with Ralph’s guidance, we’ll be able to improve their relationship and help them get along again. We’re happy with the progress so far and are considering taking some of their advanced courses in the future. Our dog, Jackson, is 9 and a rescue and his anxiety and reactivity were things that we, as working parents, felt like we didn’t have the time or bandwidth to train him out of properly. A friend told us about Allstar Canines and I felt like it was better now than attempting training later in his old age and we started with the 3 week board and train. We saw our dog every week and we saw him grow in confidence and building the right skills so he knew what we expected from him. I appreciate that Ralph and Sara put a lot of care into the dogs they were caring for and were holding us - as owners - accountable to learn the training. I believe that there’s no such thing as bad dogs but there are bad owners so felt really aligned with their training. It was a humbling and educational experience for all of us - humans and pup - and we saw the value in the 3 week program that we extended to six weeks. I would highly recommend Allstar Canines - their methods work and they’re honest with what to expect. Thank you Ralph and Sara - this experience really changed everyone’s lives and we are so excited to give Jackson the life he deserves!

Sarah and Ralph provide the perfect balance of pampering and training for the dogs in their care. It is amazing to watch how quickly dogs feel safe and happy with them and how eager they seem to be to train with them. It is exceptionally rare to find people who love dogs so much and are so dedicated to the dogs in their care but Ralph and Sarah are those exceptional people. With short notice while out of town they stepped up to take care of our Son's elderly dog with a list of health issues that included giving the dog his insulin shots and other meds and even trimmed his nails. Our son's dog loves Sarah and Ralph and that brings a huge sense of relief knowing he is in such wonderful care.

My son had to go out of the country with short notice and I was out of the country so with last minute arrangements Ralph and Sarah were there for us. They took care of Shadow again for us. He’s an older cattle dog with health issues. Almost has lost all his sight, has hip issues and is also diabetic. He needs 2 needles a day and on a very strict diet. They were very professional and caring for him and it showed. He had his nails done and how convenient is that :).They definitely know dogs and are very experienced at what they do!!!!Reliable, caring, and excellent communication . It’s a dogs home away from home ♥️
