My wife and I rescued a large mixed-breed puppy that seemed untrainable. She was out of control, wouldn't listen to us, wasn't potty trained, and was afraid of the outdoors. Scott was incredibly patient, taking his time to address all our concerns, including Gracie's potty training and fear of the outdoors, and teaching us how to train her. After just the first session and following the homework Scott gave us, we saw significant improvement in Gracie's behavior. Over the following weeks, Gracie transformed into a well-behaved dog, even our neighbors noticed the difference. I cannot recommend Scott enough! He helped me land on a training program that best fit my lifestyle and where my dogs were at. I choose the ultimate in-home training where he came to my house every weekday for a month, and my 2 little cavaliers LOVED him (except sometimes when he was making them do hard things haha 😜) From the beginning, I knew I wanted to work on leash training, door manners, stay, & recall and by the end of our session, they can do all of those things, and I feel equipped to continue training from here! It has been about two months since we sent our pup to Scott for his board and train program. His training program was just awesome! Our pup was about 4 months old and with a very busy family with two working parents training our dog ourselves was not going to be possible. Scott listened to our needs and made sure all of our concerns were corrected. He uses lots of love and patience, and not a shock collar. Our dog came back to us after 4 weeks and was easily able to integrate into our daily lives. She is now able to walk on a leash, doesn't jump or bite, and is great member of our family. You might think the cost is high, but think about how much it would cost you to board your dog for four weeks with continuous one on one training. Thanks Scott!
