Recommendation…. Written by Herman’s family Our new puppy Herman came from momma Sobee and daddy Tanner and he is the fourth Great Dane to enter our family. Once you go Dane you never go back. Herman is so loved by his human mommy and daddy and his four legged big brother Ragnar. It’s like he was meant to be with our family from the second we picked him up from Susan. He is the smartest puppy we’ve ever had. He already knows how to sit and lay and he’s only eight weeks old. He’s never pooped in the house and only had two minor PP accidents caused by his human mommy for waiting too long. He is so cuddly and loving. He has adjusted just beautifully to our family and that is due to Susan and her commitment to the breed. I am so in love with him that I am tempted to get another one however I will probably end up divorced! lol I hope Susan breeds Great Danes for a long time to come because I will never go anywhere else but to her to get a new family member. I can’t say enough good things about her. She will do anything for her puppies and her adult Danes and she would do anything for those that are lucky enough to be picked to be a future puppies mommy and daddy. If you have a puppy from Susan, you will never ever go anywhere else. She goes above and beyond to answer questions, concerns, and educate new owners. She even taught us owners who have had several Danes before things we didn’t know. It just goes to show, you are never too old to learn. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Susan for our Herman. He’s the best thing that’s happened to me at a time when I needed some good.

Found Allen’s Ridge Ranch via Google. Upon researching I immediately knew this was where we should purchase a Dane as a companion to our current four year old boy. From Susan and Tom’s experience to ethical breeding they were an absolutely perfect match. We spoke with Susan over the phone and chose our boy via FaceTime. From that point on we received weekly updates and videos until our pick up date. We also received a ton of information prior to pick up…. Which was especially helpful as it has been four years since we had a puppy and have forgotten a lot. Susan was even kind enough to help offer advice on skin issues we are having with our four year old boy. From the moment he came home, Gus has been the perfect little companion for Gunnar. Potty training already started, well socialized and the cuddliest sweetest boy we could ever ask for. This is our first Dane from Allen’s Ridge but absolutely will not be our last. Cannot recommend enough!

Susan is the sweetest woman! She raises amazing Great Danes! I adopted my Titan on January 9th. He was born on November 14, 2025. He is so sweet and playful! She raises her danes with daily human contact and love. When I brought him home, he was so ready to meet my 4 little kids, my 3 older kids, his great dane sister, his terrier and chihuahua sisters! He settled right in with my pack and they love him! Thank you Susan for raising the sweetest Blue Mantle!
