He will easily be able to teach your dog to be house broken with little effort on your part but the barking at everybody either stems from fear or aggresion (or both) and so will likely take a lot of time and patience with you. All this depends. I am sure Jacques will tell you there is never to old of a dog for training, but ideally a dog should begin around 6 months to 2 years, beyond that they get much harder to train, provided they had no foundation before. As for how long, it depends on the dog. Really you should have an idea of how intense their training needs to be before you go, after all, you are the one for whom the dog is being trained for so it will be according to your needs more than anything else; there's no one size fits all course you can put a dog into and expect them to come out "perfect". As for cost, this seems to be one of the more cost effective trainers out there. I had my two huskies trained for about 1200 and I couldnt be happier. Depending on the dog, you could achieve basic obedience with him for about 300.
