FirstBarkThis dog class helped us to better understand the needs of our dogs when training so that we could communicate effectively and consistently with our basset hounds. They went from pulling and constantly barking to heeling and less barking as well as sit and stay in one class. Staff is friendly and easy to communicate with. Facility is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend!

Does All Ways Dog Training focus exclusively on positive reinforcement training or balanced training? There nothing on the website about training philosophy.
We do both. We always use positive reinforcement; treats, toys and praise. I can even teach the use of a clicker if someone wants, although I do not prefer to use a clicker myself. At our facility you use the tools and techniques you prefer to use. When an issue comes up the owner can try multiple methods to resolve the issue. We do not have one way to fix an issue with a dog we start with redirection and if needed a correction can be used if the owner choses to use that method. Dogs are not one size fits all sometimes multiple methods are needed until we find what works on that specific dog and owner team. I have been training for 30 years and do not believe in one specific method of training so I keep up to date on all methods possible to give my clients the best options to resolve issues with their dogs.

how do you recommend i walk with two bug dogs on leash separate leashes or the kind that have onbe leash that divides into two at the end i have a lobradoodle and an airedale.
Honestly I have never tried walking two big dogs at once . I have a german shepherd and its a chore controlling one at a time. Call Tara at All ways dog training, I'm sure she would be a big help and answer all your questions.

We absolutely love All Ways Dog Training, especially Tara and Megan! Their obedience classes are the real thing -- you actually see progress with their training. Einstein, our goldendoodle, is a very energetic adolescent dog. We've attended other obedience classes and none of them have come close to All Ways Dog Training! Their set up is fantastic and we do not waste time allowing the dogs to socialize, but rather we use the time to teach, train and learn. Einstein graduated from their first obedience class and have signed him up for intermediate. We will continue solely using them for training purposes, since we actually see so much progress. Einstein gets really excited when he arrives to the facility and is very tired when we get home. Everything they teach is applicable to every day life. We truly cannot say enough amazing things and we will continue to work with them. Thank you so much Tara and Megan for your amazing ability to teach. It has been night and day for Einstein since we started working with both of you.
We took our dog to their beginner class and it really helped his behaviors along with becoming more of a confident dog.
