Does All Ways Dog Training focus exclusively on positive reinforcement training or balanced training? There nothing on the website about training philosophy.
We do both. We always use positive reinforcement; treats, toys and praise. I can even teach the use of a clicker if someone wants, although I do not prefer to use a clicker myself. At our facility you use the tools and techniques you prefer to use. When an issue comes up the owner can try multiple methods to resolve the issue. We do not have one way to fix an issue with a dog we start with redirection and if needed a correction can be used if the owner choses to use that method. Dogs are not one size fits all sometimes multiple methods are needed until we find what works on that specific dog and owner team. I have been training for 30 years and do not believe in one specific method of training so I keep up to date on all methods possible to give my clients the best options to resolve issues with their dogs.

how do you recommend i walk with two bug dogs on leash separate leashes or the kind that have onbe leash that divides into two at the end i have a lobradoodle and an airedale.
Honestly I have never tried walking two big dogs at once . I have a german shepherd and its a chore controlling one at a time. Call Tara at All ways dog training, I'm sure she would be a big help and answer all your questions.

We’ve never had such a headstrong puppy. My husband Charlie and I met with Tara regarding our 4 month old Miniature Schnauzer, Rhett. With her advice and coaching Rhett is coming around! Rhett graduated from Puppy Class and is now in AKC level one class. Tara, Kristen and Megan work with owners and dogs in a large gym. We have about 12 dogs in the 1 hr. class. We are very happy to recommend All Ways Dog Training!

All Ways Dog Training is run by some of the most phenomenal people that truly care about dogs and their owners. Tara the owner and her husband were amazing. They reached out to us in the most difficult time as a family. We had recently lost a puppy (8 weeks old) to parvo less than 4 days after we adopted him from a Washington state AKC breeder. The puppy was intended to be a support dog while my daughter went through chemotherapy for leukemia. Tara contacted us and offered us a puppy from her lovely Luna's (an aussie) litter, and went above and beyond to have an adoptive fur family Tamara raise the puppy until all vaccines were administered and puppy would be protected. She updated us weekly on the puppys growth, training and health. Tara and her husband gave our daughter the most wonderfully trained smart puppy she named Fozzy. They even brought him to us. All Ways also offered to continue his training so that Fozzy will be a wonderful support/medical dog for our daughter. He is such an amazing boy... he is gentle and attentive already and he is only 5 months old. We are excited to see how Fozzy and my daughter grow together as she fights cancer. We highly recommend All Ways Dog Training. The facility is beautiful and the staff that we met are amazing... and Fozzy is a testament to the training and love they put into every dog that comes to their facility. Thank you!
