All-Star Dog Training

We had such a wonderful experience with our dog being trained here. We were nervous about enrolling him in a program because he is a rescue who had a rough start. Our expectations were absolutely exceeded with the care and attention they gave to him. Frankie had so much love from all the trainers, but especially Sean, Greyson, and Miss Carly from the office. They were always quick to answer questions when I called and took such good care of him when they had him. We are so grateful for everything they have done and could not recommend them enough.

We went to adopts what we thought was an 11 month puppy…. Turns out he was 11 weeks. We have two young children and thought we could make it work. It was quickly evident that Moose was a handful that we weren’t equipped or prepared to deal with. It was apparent that we had to make a decision, either keep him and risk the safety of our children or return him. We decided there was different path, that’s when we reached out to All Star Dog Training and made the best decision for our dog and family. We can’t say enough positive things about this group and how they helped Moose understand boundaries and rules. He learned what is acceptable behavior and created an environment where we could train Moose while still maintaining our day to day with two young children. Bringing our dog to All Star Dog Training was the best decision we could’ve made.

My French Bulldog and I needed help in learning how to be calm when people and people with dogs are anywhere near us when we take walks. He would go ballistic when someone rang the doorbell and he would bark at my husband when he was using his walker. All-Star was able to work with my dog where he is now a much calmer dog and I am a much happier dog owner! Greyson and Shawn are excellent dog trainers and help dog owners understand their place in their dog's life.

We cannot explain in words what a difference All Star Dog Training Ballantyne has made for our Nora. Nora is a three year old, Heinz 57, rescue. Her strengths were her sweet personality, loves kids and she could sit, sit up, and roll over repeatedly. But, she had serious separation issues when my husband (works from home) would leave, a Houdini at breaking out of her kennel, aggressive behavior to people at the door, and walking her was similar to trying to walk a wild animal! Although she loved walks, she could pull your arm out of the socket with all 38 pounds and could spot a person and/or dog from 1/4 mile away. Her response was barking, up on her hind legs, hair up and barking that would implied her intention to eat them. This was not a fun experience! Two friends had had their dog in training at All Star so we visited and chose the 2 week board and train. Reasoning? We could get her to training in the morning but we couldn’t pick her up at 5. The other more favorable option, with the board and train, was that it came with lifelong weekly classes (on Thursdays at noon or an evening option) so we could follow through with lessons on our schedule. What was the result, you ask? Another dog!!!! Still her sweet self, with the skills she started with but, from the day we picked her up we had a controlled, less anxious dog, we knew was in there. The staff at All Star were professional, responsive and cared, not only about what our initial concerns were, but Nora was obviously very attached to all the staff. As part of our board and train we had three follow up lessons with both Greyson and Sean who were very attentive to helping us learn the skills Nora had learned and helped us with any questions and support to be able to continue her training. We would recommend you contacting All Star for your dog! They do a free consultation and are there to make your dog successful with whatever you and your pet are struggling with. I can’t seem to post the videos of her walking in stores but the difference in night and day!!!
