All Star Dog Sports

I attended a NADAC Agility trial @ All Star Dog Sports last weekend - Oct 26-37, 3024. The facility was very nice! The arena has wonderful flooring for the dogs and humans. It was spacious. However, the space to stand or sit to watch other competitors was small and tight, which made some dogs nervous entering the ring. 3 exits from the area helped the flow of competitors. There was a very nice break room for eating. The location was easy to find, with lots of parking- much of it shaded. I would definitely attend other agility shows at this facility. I live in Iowa, so attending classes isn't an option for me.

We have taken 4 six week long classes so far at All Star Dog Sports. The facility is really nice and the instructors are very passionate about the sport. Keep in mind that these classes are designed to get you involved in agility to head toward a competition level. That means you're learning body language, connecting with your dog, and how to train your dog. The courses are not designed to get you out on the advanced obstacles right away as this is dangerous to the dog and harmful to their enthusiasm for the sport.
