FirstBarkCallie did the board and train program for 3 weeks and came back a completely different dog. She LOVES to train now and listens to instructions. She is a much calmer dog, but still has her personality. Paige has been fabulous with her!

We did the 3 week board and train Novice program and follow up sessions at home. I was so shocked how focused and attentive my (previously wild) puppy was when Paige (trainer) brought him home to me! APK9 does a great job making sure you understand the process and feel comfortable with continuing training practice on your own at home! They sent some photos and updates to me during his 3 week stay and I could tell he was not just learning but having a blast as well. This was a great way to get my dog socialized and trained before moving to a pet-friendly apartment complex.

Our 18 month old GSD is a new dog! He was fairly good before his 4 week boarded training, and now he’s doing exceptionally well in basic obedience. With the e-collar we can control his barking at the door for guests/deliveries and no more pulling during walks. He even goes to his place on his own and stays there! Later, Paige (APK-9 owner/ trainer) came to our home and trained us to reinforce our dog’s training. We’ll continue to refine his training with her. I certainly recommend APK-9.

She is firm but kind with Walter and you can see he enjoys himself because he responds so well. But I think what’s most telling is the fact that she patiently explains things to me in a way I actually understand, making me a better handler and owner.
