All Paws Dog Training

After we lost our 5 year old absolutely perfect pup due to cancer, we adopted a rescue puppy (sato), so our tripawd does not have to be alone. We are incredibly THANKFUL that we found Debbie and All Paws Dog Training, and immediately started puppy classes with our puppy Apollo. He always did so amazing and loves Debbie. Only a few months later, we fell in love with another rescue puppy in LA that was saved from euthanasia. Before the adoption process, Debbie helped us assess the case, because we knew little Samson would come with some issues – and yes they came. The two puppies ended up in a few fights. Debbie however is such an incredible human being, LOVING, CARING, PROFESSIONAL and very EXPERIENCED also with dogs that need more help (reactivity etc.). She helped us with strict training and behavioral assessment and now the boys get along famously. We are so HAPPY with Debbie’s training methods, because the focus on building a RELATIONSHIP, learning to UNDERSTAND AND SPEAK DOG. It’s much more than feeding treats and have your dogs do tricks like many “trainers” do, or shock them if they do something they don’t like. This training method is deep and trains not just the dog, but also you to become a good LEADER to them. And no violence needed! We couldn’t be more GRATEFUL and continue our training with all 3 pups with leadership classes, obstacles, and more. Our pack (and us humans too) absolutely ADORES DEBBIE and they respond so well to her. Training for us is even more important because we want to set up our pups for success – having pitbull mix rescues, two of them black – is sadly often criticized by the unexperienced, and we are advocates. I reached out to Debbie in a time of acute distress in regards to our special pup. It would have been very easy during this discussion for Debbie to market her services, but she quite literally did the opposite. She has never met me, my fiance or our dog. She listened and spent over 1 hour on the phone with me. Giving special advice and direction and i am so grateful for this phone call. We made a difficult decision to let her rest as she was just too hard wired and our situation was becoming unsafe. We gave her the gift of peace. I write this review because over the past few months I have spent endless hours on the phone with trainers, vets, behavioralists and they all circled back to their services and i never felt like i could find someone to just give us genuine honest advice. It was Debbie who did, and I'm so happy I had the chance to talk to you that day. I know that if/when we get another pup down the line we will come to you for training. Thank you Debbie.

A extraordinary dog (and people) trainer...this is the woman to work with. We'd been through a couple of "ho-hum" courses with other folks...and then we met Debbie. She's been training animals for decades (dogs, horses) and she's on a completely different level than anyone we've worked with. Our dog (a brown Lab) responded responded to her immediately–it was uncanny. And she's enabled us to communicate with him, and train him, in a fashion that's improved our lives considerably.
