If I could rate higher, I would. I chose Mike because his advertisement said exactly what I was thinking, that his training would be designed for my dog's (Elbert) specific behavioral problems. He did not disappoint. He also instructed ME on how to help Elbert form and unform habits, he's almost 8. To say I'm so glad we did this is an understatement. WE NEEDED THIS. Mike Holian is a great dog trainer, he's very personable, & is very focused on the tasks of the day. He kept me focused as well. Elbert was already a good ESA (Emotional Support Animal), and Mike helped him be like "All Good Dogs"

Outstanding! We have 3 corgis between the ages of 1 and 2 1/2 with 2 males and 1 female. One of the males was physically fighting with our other male to be the alpha on numerous occasions - we were at the point of needing to find a new home for him. Mike taught us how to become the leader (the alpha) and be in control. We learned techniques to alter/correct the behavior plus so many other things we needed assistance with, i.e. walking all 3 dogs, getting back when someone came to the door, correcting jumping/mouthing/pushiness, reaction to every day noises with barking, etc., etc. Mike explains things by using analogies that flip the switch on why and how to assist in training the dogs (and humans). For us, it was understanding dog pack behavior and hierarchy. We highly recommend Mike - he exceeded our expectations!
