All Dogs Unleashed Omaha

When we went to pick up our puppy after 2 weeks of training I questioned a little bit if it was worth it..... But once we got home and could see how much her behavior actually changed we were extremely happy. Megan did a great job with her. She did kinda fly through all of the information in the beginning but I'm guessing she's just really used to doing it and we had to do a little later meeting than we were supposed to so the whole family could participate. Megan did make sure we were all comfortable with the collar and the steps that we needed to continue to take once we got our puppy home. My only complaint or dislike was the communication was a little lacking. We signed up for the puppy assessment and never heard anything about a confirmation before the day of the assessment. During the assessment we discussed what day we wanted our puppy to start the board and train. That week before I reached out...it was a holiday week.. and didn't hear anything back. The day that I thought she was supposed to go I decided not to go because I never heard back. I received a message that day saying she wasn't signed up or scheduled for board and train. I was pretty frustrated with that but not for long. They scheduled her for drop off the next day. I do wish there were some more pictures and updates coming. Being that she was our first puppy I didn't take into account all of the extras that we were giving her for food each day. I measured out all of the food like normal but when we picked her up she was soooo skinny. I don't blame the trainer or business at all. But if we'd gotten some more pictures I would have seen her looking so skinny. And I don't know... maybe its how she's supposed to look. That breed is supposed to be slim. But again, anything I brought up was an issue could easily have been fixed if I had done things differently. I would still absolutely recommend all dogs unleashed. I was so nervous boarding my dog, Willa, for the first time. I've never boarded a dog before in my life so I had no idea what to expect. We had gone to another training facility in the omaha area previously which was okay but Willa wasn't thriving there and it wasn't giving us what we needed from the classes. We were able to do a meet and greet with her trainer Brandon before signing any forms to make sure Willa would be a good candidate for their training. The trainer really was able to calm my nerves and talk me through what her training would be like and was able to recognize that she was afraid of other dogs (after having been attacked by an off leash dog on a walk) and helped hone her training in on her specific issues. In 2 weeks the progress she made is wonderful, we couldn't have asked for more! For us, the hardest part is the continued exposure to strange dogs. We rely on seeing other dogs while out on a walk to work on her confidence which can be hit or miss, especially since it feels like most other dogs around here lunge and bark on their leashes. Because of this limitation in training we really appreciate that ADU offers continued training through refresher courses so we can continue training her in proximity to other dogs while making sure she's safe too. I would highly consider sending your dog here if you have the means and your dog has particular needs, they're extremely accommodating and very knowledgeable. The facility is clean and all the staff I've interacted with has been wonderful. Thank you all for your help with Willa! -Zoe G
