All Dogs Unleashed Dog Training

I had an excellent experience with All Dogs Unleashed and couldn’t be happier with the progress Dax made during the two-week training program. From the very beginning, Mathew was incredibly educational during drop-off. He took the time to walk me through the training process, set clear expectations for what Dax would be working on, and explained what I could expect throughout the program. He is also very intentional about follow ups and making sure Dax was continuing to understand and respond to everything he was being taught. The pickup experience was just as impressive. The lead trainer took the time to walk me through everything Dax had learned and, more importantly, showed me how to continue the training at home. She demonstrated each command, explained how and when to correct him if he wasn’t responding appropriately, and made sure I understood exactly what to do so I could set Dax up for success going forward. Over the two weeks, Dax learned a tremendous amount. He now sits on command, understands the “place” command, has made great progress with recall and leash training, and is responding extremely well to his obedience commands. I’m very pleased with the outcome and excited to continue building on everything he learned. All in all, it was a fantastic experience from drop-off to pickup. The communication, education, and attention to detail really stood out, and I would absolutely recommend All Dogs Unleashed to anyone looking for professional dog training. Five stars for sure!

Hello, I sent my 7-month-old Alaskan Klee Kai, Takoa, to Dogs Unleashed for their 2-week Board & Train program, and I have to say, I am beyond impressed with the results. Matthew and his assistant, Mel, have truly surpassed my expectations—not only with the training they provided Takoa, but also with the continued support they have given us even after the training was completed. That level of commitment says a lot about the kind of people they are and how much they genuinely care about the dogs and their owners. When I brought Takoa to Dogs Unleashed, he was a handful on walks. He would pull and lead us wherever he wanted to go, stop whenever he felt like it, bark at other people, had absolutely NO recall, and would take off chasing rabbits whenever he got the opportunity. Matthew and Mel addressed the leash pulling, barking, recall, and boundary violations, but they also worked on things I didn't even realize were problems until they pointed them out like excited jumping, door bolting, and overall impulse control. The difference is honestly incredible. Takoa is still the same energetic, goofy, loving puppy we brought in, but now he has structure, boundaries, and a much better understanding of what is expected of him. Our walks are more enjoyable, he listens better, and we have much more confidence handling him in different situations. What impressed me most is that Dogs Unleashed didn't just "train my dog" and send him home. They trained us as owners too. They took the time to explain what they were doing, why they were doing it, and how we could continue reinforcing the training at home. And even after the 2-week program ended, Matthew and Mel have continued to answer questions and support us. That kind of follow-through is hard to find. If you're considering training for your dog, I highly recommend Dogs Unleashed. If you're on the fence about a Board & Train program, I can honestly say that our experience has been worth every penny. Takoa came home a better behaved dog, but more importantly, we came home better equipped owners. My goal was to be able to walk Takoa without a leash if I choose, we are well on the way of that. We did the 2 week board-and-train, and the results are even better than we expected! We have a very high energy Malinois named Radar who is a rescue with high anxiety, especially around other dogs. The "before" and "after" were like night and day, he's a very different dog, and it was absolutely mind-blowing to see him peacefully sit and walk around near other dogs. I believe he was trained mostly by Matt, the owner, who also has a VERY well-trained Malinois named Clutch, whom we also met when dropping off Radar, and just that interaction with Clutch gave us a lot of confidence that we made the right choice. Toward the end of the program, they called us to let us know that Radar still had some additional progress to make on his training, and surprisingly offered to keep him for a few more days to continue working with him, *completely free of charge.* When we picked up Radar, Matt gave us a thorough walkthrough of everything they taught him, as well as how to properly reinforce Radar's training. We spent a couple hours there practicing the commands, which have been quite easy to maintain in the two months since we picked him up. Matt also flagged a potential concern with Radar's low weight, which we may not have been able to address as quickly, had Matt not gone out of his way (and paid that much attention) to inform us. It really seems like everything stuck, and we feel WAY more equipped to handle Radar, especially in high excitement periods like family coming over to visit. On top of all of this, their buildings and outdoor space are SUPER clean and well-maintained, which was even more reassuring. It's very clear that these people love dogs, genuinely care about long-term results, and are extremely upfront and transparent. We have a couple trips coming up and we will absolutely be going through All Dogs Unleashed to board Radar while we're gone. We 100% recommend them, and will definitely do this again if we get a 2nd dog in the future.
