We are very impressed by the results of this two week board and train program. Our ten month old pup liked Kayla immediately and we appreciated the time she spent with us in our home prior to sending our dog with her. We loved the video we were sent that showed Kayla and our dog working so effectively together. Upon return, Kayla spent time guiding us as we practiced applying her techniques with our pet. We were pleased to know that two follow up sessions together would be included. As instructed, we are striving to be consistent with rewarding with treats and praise. When corrections are needed, we understand that we must follow through without raising our voices or demonstrating frustration. Our pup now heels beautifully on walks on a leash. Providing ample playtime is essential. Having our pet maintain her “place”for lengthening periods is still a greater challenge, but she is making progress. Brief but frequent training sessions require significant time commitment, and we realize that that a happy, loved and polite pet is a long- term investment.

I found Heather from a simple Google search , she was the first trainer I spoke with and I’m so lucky i found her . From my first conversation with her , she was very knowledgeable and straightforward. I was so impressed that I live in Austin area but decided to go with her to her Houston location for training. We have two Klee Kai’s with drastically different personalities that were clashing , one super hyper and bit of a bully and one very independent and calm. Our hyper dog is much , much calmer and my quieter Klee Kai is also happier that she doesn’t have to live with a bully . My home is much more peaceful and walks are more pleasant . Since training Heather has been very prompt answering any questions I have. I’m so grateful to have found Heather and her head trainer Matt . I have a better understanding of who my dogs are what works for them so we can live together more happily.
